    Patched AppleUSBXHCI

Not working for ASMEDIA 1042, AppleUSBXHCI kext is loading and patched with clover but ports not working...
  2. Same issue as @uukk on my asus laptop, usb 3 (Asmedia1042) shows up in system report app but when a device is plugged in it doesn't show up on desktop (or finder). Though, if I have a usb device plugged in during boot it works excellent, goes to sleep without problems, works after sleep too.... but have to plug in a usb during boot every time This is when using genericsusbxhci.kext....

    Yosemite USB3

I noticed that if something is plugged in the usb 3 port during boot, its works without doing anything but as soon as it goes to sleep and wakes usb 3 is gone. Any ideas?

    Yosemite USB3

USB 3 partly works, thanks! I removed IOPCIMatch from info.plist and installed the kext. The usb3 port work with external hard drives, usb drives but not my iPhone nor usb mouse through a hub. A little bit slow but a fully compatible usb port is more important. It also prevents sleep.

    Yosemite USB3

Hi all Usb 3 in yosemite is not functioning like in mavericks. How do I make it work again? In mavericks it was working all fine with GenericUSBXHCI.kext from rehabman. I tried the latest one for yosemite but no luck. Though you can see that usb 3 is recognized in "About my mac". As you can see here its showing up but not working. The kext I am trying is attached. My specs are in signature if anything is not clear enough please ask. Ive done research about it but not found anything useful, so please share your knowledge. Control Volume with Keyboard?

Okay, so I found this guide which explains how one can assign keys to different actions (bottom of page): https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Voodoo-PS2-Controller/wiki/How-to-Use-Custom-Keyboard-Mapping In my case I need to assign: F10 to Mute F11 to Volume Down F12 to Volume Up Stil I need to know the ADB code of these actions, any ideas?

    Control Volume with Keyboard?

Hi I made this topic to get help on controlling volume with the internal keyboard. The slider at top right on menu bar works and audio works with patched AppleHDA. But seems like somethings missing.. I think I need to assign the keys to volume up/volume down. The closest I can get is by enabling accessibility settings to enable on-screen control - still not able to adjust with keyboard. These controls appear: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bis3qa2ro1goyfd/Skjermbilde%202014-07-15%20kl.%2001.11.08.png?m= The kext Im using for keyboard is Rehabman's VoodooPS2Controller.kext
