  1. Pandora's Box (Beta 2 Testing)

I MADE IT! I MADE IT!! I MADE IT!!!! Sorry but I'm really happy! Thank you very much for the support! The steps that I ran are a bit complicated, but I'll try to explain for helping people who have my same setup. Made the stick, replaced some kexts with patched one (see the attachment). These kexts allowed me to go over "[PCI Configuration begin]", "still waiting for root device", SMC and other power related problems. I need also the "cpus=1" flag that I will fix later after the install. And ABSOLUTELY to complete the boot process of installation you MUST have a bluetooth key plugged into the computer since the mobo doesn't support it! At the end of the installation I opened up the terminal (inside Utilities menu) and I copied all kexts from USB to my HD: "cp -a /Volumes/Name_of_your_usb/kexts_folder/. /Volumes/Name_of_your_hd/System/Library/Extensions/" Then I fixed all permissions: "chown -R root:wheel /Volumes/Name_of_your_hd/System/Library/Extensions/" "chmod -R 755 /Volumes/Name_of_your_hd/System/Library/Extensions/" "touch /Volumes/Name_of_your_hd/System/Library/Extensions/" And there you have it! Thanks to everyone who supported me! final kexts.zip
  2. Pandora's Box (Beta 2 Testing)

Another day, another try! I tried with Chameleon bootloader too, myHack and UB.. nothing to do! Today I will try to install ML 10.8.3 with my 8800GT, then install GeForce web driver and put my GTX770 back again. Let's see.. PS: I love to use Pandora, it's the best tool IMO, but every time I need to apply Enoch bootloader again from the Enoch installer or Chameleon. I tried MBR and GUID as scheme, even when it doesn't notify the error during the installer, the bootloader says "boot: error" when I put my USB key.
  3. I use Kext Wizard that fixes permissions! Anyway thank you for the advice!
  4. Pandora's Box (Beta 2 Testing)

I've done many tries today. I never passed the [PCI Configuration begin] with my GTX770. I start to think of givin up. Does anyone have an idea?
  5. Pandora's Box (Beta 2 Testing)

I'm doing some tests! One question: how can I see the bdmsg booting from USB? Is there a way to see the complete log moving my USB on another PC?
  6. Thank you christ, for now i'm trying here with Pandora!
  7. Pandora's Box (Beta 2 Testing)

Yes, GeForce 8800GT from my MacPro3,1! I tried with it (mode 1).. and the loading goes ok (PCI ok, AHCI ok) till the screen turn into blank once I reach the installer. (i tried GraphicsEnabler=Yes and cpus=1). So my problem was the GTX770 not compatible with hackintosh, isn't it?
  8. Pandora's Box (Beta 2 Testing)

Thank you for the reply! Still the same error even with GUID formatted USB: "Patch per partizioni MBR non trovata, se continui devi installare in GUID con OSx 10.8.5". Anyway I tried methods #2 and #3 too. Method #2 => still stuck at [PCI Configuration begin] with npci=0x2000. Without options (just "-v -f -x") the screen stays at [PCI Configuration begin] but the USB keeps loading and after a while the screen turn into blank like booted into the installer, but I can't see it. (I tried again, it seems I cannot replicate it.. did it just once!?!) Method #3 => after [PCI Configuration begin] it shows "RTC: Only single RAM bank (128bytes)" and stuck there... with or without "npci=0x2000".
  9. In the boot's plist I have GraphicsEnabler=No and UseKernelCache=No! Anyway, as far I know, with -f it should load all kext again. I know my build isn't easy at all.. I tried everything with no success!
  10. Pandora's Box (Beta 2 Testing)

First of all I'd like to thank you for all the incredible work! I'm facing some problems and I can't figure out how to solve them. Here's my steps: Format USB Key => Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with MBR option. Pandora => Create Installer, Mode 1, USB, ML, Conf.#4, 1920x1080x32, MacPro5,1 During the creation a warning appears: "Patch per partizioni MBR non trovata, se continui devi installare in GUID con OSx 10.8.5". I clicked "Continuare". All done, good Hackintosh! => Eject "Pandora Installer" I tried to run the installer with these options: "-v -f -x" stuck at => [PCI Configuration begin] Then i tried to add: PCIRootUID=0 PCIRootUID=1 npci=0x3000 npci=0x2000 nothing... When i typed "-v -f -x PCIRootUID=0 npci=0x3000": [PCI Configuration begin] [PCI Configuration end, bridges 1, devices 46] [PCI Configuration begin] but it was still hanged.. IOPCIFamily.kext inside S/L/E it's 2.8 version, I'm able to go forward replacing it with the 2.7 version but then it messed up with the other kexts i think (can't load AppleAHCIPort.kext) and everything stuck at "DSMOS has arrived". any idea? Here you have some logs! You can find my build on my signature. Thank you. PBInstMakerLOG.txt PBmainLOG.txt
  11. Yeah, I forgot to mention that I also placed fakesmc.kext and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext in S/L/E from my USB key.. nothing changed! After work I'll make a try..
  12. Hi everyone! I'm trying to install 10.8.5 on my new build (look at my signature for further details) from something like 5 days.. I tried with myHack and UB too. My last try: I created an usb stick with myHack 3.2 Beta 8 and Mac Os X Mountain Lion downloaded from AppStore. (changed org.chameleon.Boot.plist-> GraphicsEnabler=No) I ran the installer from chameleon 2.2 with options "-v -f -x": it hangs on [PCI Configuration Begin]. After tried some options like npci=0x3000, npci=0x2000, PCIRootUID=0 and the various combinations I replaced IOPCIFamily.kext (2.8) with 2.7 from 10.8.4. Can't load kernel kext AppleAHCIPort.kext (2.6.6) and AppleACPIPlatform.kext (1.8) so I replaced them with 2.5.2 and 1.7 respectively. It goes to the end till the screen turned into blank and the PC restarts, then I added the "cpus=1" option. I've done it! I'm in the installer... At the end it shows an error, but the installer was at 100% and completed the installation (always did it, I think cuz of the multiboot with windows, with 1.8.0 I was still able to boot). I rebooted and tried to enter with "-v -f -x" options. [PCI Configuration Begin] I went to Windows and replaced IOPCIFamily.kext, AppleAHCIPort.kext, AppleACPIPlatform.kext with the ones I used for the installation.. With "-v -f -x cpus=1" everything gone alright till: I don't know how to solve this.. Where am I wrong? PS: How can I get the entire log? Thank You, Luca
