  1. Hi guys! I'm having problem with my install. I cannot boot to the install since i'm getting KP ( Unable to find driver ACPI ). I'm not really sure will i need to patch my bios for to get it work or what? I'm using Clover and i've tried to boot with nv_disable=1 since i have GTX 970. So i think it's not my graphics card which is causing this problem. Specs: - Intel i7 4770k - Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5 - Asus Strix GTX 970 - Kingston HyperX 1600MHz 2x 4GB If more info needed just ask! Thanks in advance!

    Mavericks install UEFI Clover

Hey @SunLizard ! I did try to do it with terminal first and then install clover to the usb efi partition and it didnt work. Then i tried with that EFI Mavericks box which i found at here. I've used chameleon to install it before and then use clover afterwards and it worked. I don't have any DSDT's and made a config.plist with Nvidiainject true and Intelinject false. When i'm trying to boot it goes normally (-v) and after MissingbluetoothTransport thingy it seems like it's going to boot but after that my screen just goes to sleep and nothing happens
  3. Hello guys! This is my first time installing with Clover UEFI mode so i would need a bit help since i won't get Mavericks booting. I've made UEFI USB in my mavericks virtual machine and tried to get it booting with no luck. First question is what do i need in config.plist on my EFI partition since its all empty for some reason? Is my USB made the right way? ( Watch pictures from here http://imgur.com/a/vWvXx#0 Includes S/L/E + EFI Partition pictures ) Specs: Intel i7 4770K, MSi Z87-G45, MSi Cyclone 460 GTX, Kingston HyperX 1600MHz 2 x 4 GB, Seagate Barracuda 1TB I would like to use my PCI graphics card (worked before with legacy install). Any clues would be really appreciated! If you need something else to figure this out just ask! Thanks in advance!

    Post-install problem!

Any clue how to fix it?
  6. Hello guys! I'm having a problem with post-installation with my mavericks, made usb install stick with Pandora's Box on vmware. Installed with boot args ( -x -v maxmem=4096 npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes) Thought that those would work after installing also but they didnt. I tried to google it out whats the problem is. http://imgur.com/6VUWL6U Thats the place where im stuck.. it goes sometimes to something IOCatalogue etc but not going from there also.
  7. Hello guys! I bought new computer parts about a month ago and since my new processor is Intel (Old one was AMD) i'm new to Intel hackintoshing. My new rig: Intel Core i7-4770K MSi Z87-G45 Gaming Kingston 2 X 4GB 1600MHz MSi Cyclone GTX 460 (I know this will work OOB in mavericks) Seagate Barracuda 1TB XFX 550W So what i want to get from this topic would be some help to prevent incoming problems, one thing that i know what will give me a headache could be that Killer E2200 ethernet driver, and yea my old build had regular bios and now i have UEFI. Is there something big difference between normal and uefi? Thanks already! -skndz
  8. Heeeey people again My hack has been working awesome but theres few problems. 1) How i can enable sleep? What kext i will need to make it work? 2) Integrated sound, i found few kext's before and they didnt work ( VIA HD Audio VT1708S). Found one here in downloads and gonna try that after i get home. 3) Flash install. It says "Host package cannot be installed/opened", Im booting with arch=x86_64 and been trying to boot with arch=i386 to test will it work 32bit but cannot boot. Is there any fix for this? Kernel: 10.7.5 Bronzovka's "mach_kernel_10_7_5_FX_RC7_TEST_FSB 4) And i need to see my computer temperatures, FakeSMC will do it?

    ASUS PCI-N10 Wireless

I did some research and sent e-mail to Ralink and Asus about the driver, so it´s Ralink 3060 (RT3060) and downloaded few drivers and it´s not working. But the success here is now that in System Info that PCI card is regonized but it´s not installing kext, tried with Kext utility and fixed permissions after etc. So any suggestions are welcome!

    ASUS PCI-N10 Wireless

I recently bought ASUS PCI-N10 and thought it was compatible with my Lion install but it wasnt. I installed drivers from CD and it had driver for 10.3, 10.4 and 10.5. I installed 10.5 but noticed that it doesnt work. Anyone have experience with this PCI card or have any suggestion how to make it work? Little googling i did and noticed RT2860 (not sure if right one, will edit this if wrong) is some driver for other PCI card but may work, does anyone know will it? Thanks in advance!
  11. Haha, in hackintosh everything can mess up if some little thing is wrong.. Just try what everyone suggest and if it wont work just ask someone to guide you Edit: fixed phone typos
  12. Duran helped me over Skype, and i did make USB install then added kernel there what Duran sent me then deleted the modules folder and it just booted After install i had to delete the Extra folder then it booted I'm not sure yet how to update but I'm gonna find it out in few days, good thing in here that Lion is now usable so don't have to play with Windows
  13. Thanks for everyone who has helped me so far, finally got Lion running in my PC! Now just updating it to newer version of Lion and installing Adobe Master Collection CS6.
  14. I tried that kernel what you told about in previous post and it didnt help anything sadly but would be awesome if you could skype with me in the morning. I live in finland and its 3:00am here and im going to sleep now and wake up in 9-10am
