  1. Benefit: Airplay mirror to apple TV works with IGPU disable. this is the method Mac Pro use, all other macs use IGPU to do that. Most of hackintoshes dont plug display at IGPU....
  2. Yes, but I create the DSDT entries for GCON, but the drivers didn't load. I dont know how to make it load the drivers. the DSDT code I use is this: but the kexts AppleMGPUPowerControl didnt load...
  3. Good, this trick make my Z97Z-SLI with 2x R9 280x (IGPU DISABLE) works fine with macpro6,1 AND AIRPLAY MIRROR WORKING!!! no change in performance wise, at least during this short time test. BruceX is under 12 seconds and old Luxmark SALA over 5100 points... I will test a little bit more about sleep, and still need to fix USB 3.0 but it seems a lot better than iMac14,2 with IGPU enable (with works fine, but didn't sleep and wake like yosemite, and IGPU was aways at top speed) For those who has has well with 2x identical Radeon R9 280X this could be a better solution. Remember to path AppleTyMCEDriver and run ssdtgen and freqVectorsEdit from piker alpha to fix several CPU related things.... UPDATE1: sleep doesn't work.... maybe because device GCON is not define right, and don't load the AppleMGPUControl drivers....

I use UEFI boot, and also get 2 recovery HD partitions with the same ID. my config hide the correct one (Recovery HD), but the other one shows at Clover gui with the same name as boot partition (yes, i see two OSX Yosemite icons on GUI): 0:898 0:000 6: 'EFI' 0:932 0:033 skipped because path `PciRoot(0x0)\Pci(0x1F,0x2)\Sata(0x0,0xFFFF,0x0)\HD(1,GPT,F06CCEBB-38DA-4EED-B9EF-D34BDB69DF59,0x28,0x64000)\EFI\BOOT\BOOTX64.efi` is self path! 0:932 0:000 7: 'OSX' 0:933 0:001 skipped because path `PciRoot(0x0)\Pci(0x1F,0x2)\Sata(0x0,0xFFFF,0x0)\HD(2,GPT,1123CE55-2728-4381-8E58-353D0015F3D7,0x64028,0x1BD8A540)\System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi` already exists for another entry! 0:969 0:035 8: 'Recovery HD' 0:970 0:001 skipped because path `PciRoot(0x0)\Pci(0x1F,0x2)\Sata(0x0,0xFFFF,0x0)\HD(3,GPT,275996D0-2CCF-4D1B-A381-0F7A6F162953,0x1BDEE568,0x135F20)\System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi` already exists for another entry! 0:971 0:000 Skipped because matching custom entry 1! I found a permission error on yosemite /library/logs/cloverEFI. I made a fresh install, but i can't see the logs on console. the directory didn't have the right permission. changing permission everyone from none to read solve the problem. i believe it could be done by the installer or clover itself. the default permission won't work on a fresh yosemite install.

Hi guys, i found two things on GUI with I believe it isnt a normal behavior: 1) on Clover GUI -> Options -> CPU enable C6 is checked, but I didnt check this parameter on config.plist, in fact I use piker ssdtgen so I didnt check any CPU parameters on clover besides dropSSDT and only enableC6 is checked on that panel. i dont know from where this value is read but it is not from config.plist neither nvram (list using nvram -p) 2) when I boot from pendrive (UEFI) I can see Clover options on GUI with I can add Clover entry to BIOS BOOT, but when i boot from disk (also UEFI), this option is not available. I didnt find any option on config.plist with allow enable Clover Options from disk, and i use the same config.plist from pendrive. I hope it helps the development of clover.

i use bluetooth explorer last night and compared to a mac mini with also use the same BCM20702 bluetooth chipset and the same headset, and I didnt find anything wrong besides the apple80211Request[10514] Unsupported ioctl error with happen on my hackintosh and did not on mac mini. I also have a fully funcional airport card (ebay) with airdrop, and seems the message is algo related to wifi (as google shows) but the error happens with or without the card installed. I believe there is some bridge to connect the bluetooth MIC (audio input) to somewhere and it is missing. thats why I think about a DDST/SSDT device that could be missing.

I have a small but annoying problem that could be related to some DDST or clover device manipulation. I have a H87 with 4770 processor, GTX660, with audio, HDMI, all works very well. GMYLE bluetooth works fine and I can paired with whatever I want, BUT..... Bluetooth headset (I have a Platronics M50) paired and working as OUTPUT, it wont work as INPUT. if I go to preferences/sound/input to select it (it shows there), it freeze (color spinning wheel) and dont work anymore. This behavior happens to other people with others bluetooth headset, i found several ones asking for a solution at several forums, but no ones answer yet. Console shows this: 4/24/14 12:53:39.000 PM kernel[0]: 320.923465: apple80211Request[10514] Unsupported ioctl 194 4/24/14 12:53:39.000 PM kernel[0]: 321.252936: apple80211Request[10514] Unsupported ioctl 175 4/24/14 12:53:39.000 PM kernel[0]: 321.252960: apple80211Request[10514] Unsupported ioctl 194 4/24/14 12:53:44.111 PM AVRCPAgent[1027]: Plugin path: '/System/Library/CoreServices/AVRCPAgent.app/Contents/PlugIns/' not found. 4/24/14 12:53:44.116 PM AVRCPAgent[1027]: Setting the delegate returned 0 4/24/14 12:53:47.000 PM kernel[0]: 329.168167: apple80211Request[10514] Unsupported ioctl 175 4/24/14 12:53:47.000 PM kernel[0]: 329.168184: apple80211Request[10514] Unsupported ioctl 194 4/24/14 12:53:50.000 PM kernel[0]: 332.291091: apple80211Request[10514] Unsupported ioctl 175 4/24/14 12:53:50.000 PM kernel[0]: 332.291116: apple80211Request[10514] Unsupported ioctl 194 I have a real macs and they dont have AVRCPAgent plugins either, but the same headset works fine without the Unsupported ioctl message. I have the same message with and without patch appleHDA (i have realtek 862) or activate HDMI audio. I believe there is some DDST/SSDT missing to allow bluetooth audio works as INPUT. BTW, i dont have any problem using Airplay audio or bluetooth speakers as OUTPUT. if there is anyone with bluetooth audio INPUT working, please comment here.

Since 2577 i have had some problems with Clover changing disk order aleatory. I had two identical SSD, one with Mavericks (EFI-OSX-Recovery) on SATA0 (with supposed to be always disk0) and other with a single partition (EFI-HOME) on SATA1 (with is supposed to be always disk1) For some reason, it changed aleatory when booting. Sometimes SATA1 (the second SSD) is disk0 and the other is disk1, sometimes it boot correctly. This is causing a several issues with cloud apps with sync some folders. When disks are inverted, i cant sync some folders (apps error). And one time, network is gone... rebooting solve the problem, but it was very strange. I have been using clover for a while, and didnt change anything on config.plist since patch appleHDA on the fly was discovered (new way to patch) only update clover. this behavior starts at 2577, but it could be caused by updaded bios too... GA-H87M-D3H from F6 to F7. I had dual boot with windows 7 (disk2 on SATA2) with works ok and never change the SATA order. did you experienced some like this? UPDATE: it is related with addHDMI new feature. When unchecked, SATA order is normal. UPDATE2: Is it possible that some nvram variables could change the disk order? i clear nvram (and removed from disk) and it seems more stable now. Also I notice a new entry at bios boot device 1: besides the disks itself and Microsoft Boot Manager (because the dual boot) there is a new option called Mac OS X, but gigabyte bios didnt allow me to view the device linked to it. The last time the disk order are inverted the bios booted at Mac OS X entry ( i dont know how the boot order changed from SSD 1 to this entry, but it happened).
