  1. Hi again, after a few months of testing my hackintosh I can say that this is the perfect build, I can update everything with the app store, the sleep mode works like a charm and installation proccess was very easy and quick. Hope this can help to the people that are building a hackintosh.

    [KEXT] CMI8738 Kext for 64bit OSX Lion

    Works perfectly in Mountain Lion (10.8.5), my sound card is a Genius SoundMaker Value 5.1.

Thanks for your response C.Frio, Well after 2 days I decided to make a hackintosh with the next configuration: --------------------- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B75M-HD3 ($67.70) Processor: Intel Core i5 3330 3.0Ghz ($167.03) RAM: Adata SkyRam DDR3 8GBx2 ($65.94) Video: EVGA nVidia GTX 260 896MB (Free) Old PC Case: Cooler Master Haf 922 (Also Free) Old PC --------------------- Total: $300.67 I install Mac OS X 10.8.0 first, and then update to 10.8.4 from the original OS X Mountain Lion Update v10.8.4 (Combo) I follow the tutorial from myHack and boot at the first time without modifications, well was necessary to install the ethernet and sound drivers. Hi, I want to build a hackinstosh just for fun but i'm trying to save money, recently one of my computers stop working and I decided to build a new one, but I have a doubt about the motherboard, i just want to buy one that works everything with minimum efforts. I been searching and I saw that the Gigabyte motherboads are excelent for what I looking for, one of my configurations could be this: Gigabyte GA-B75M-HD3 ($67.70) or Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H ($121.33) Intel Core i5 3330 3.0Ghz ($167.03) RAM Adata "SkyRam" DDR3 4GBx2 ($32.97) EVGA nVidia GTX 260 (Old PC) HD Segate 750GB 7200RPM 3.5" (Old PC) What do you think about this configuration it's ok? Also I'm a little confused with the Z77 series because I saw diferrents kinds of the first is the GA-Z77-D3H ($121.33), other is the GA-Z77M-DH3 ($107.47), and the GA-Z77X-UDH3 ($156.00) wich one of these are the best for this project? Thanks!
