  1. AR9287(AR5B97)wifi works fine in 10.6.7 finally!

    Thank You!!! Confirmed working here
  2. VIA Vinyl VT1708

i've opened up appleazalia kext to investigate why this particular kext was working, and saw that the pci family matches to the one on the mobo <key>Intel ICH6 Azalia Audio</key> <dict> <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key> <string>com.apple.driver.AppleAzaliaController</string> <key>IOClass</key> <string>AppleAzaliaController</string> <key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key> <string>0x26688086 0x27d88086 0x284b8086 0x32881106 0x026c10de 0x037110de 0x03e410de 0x03f010de 0x044a10de 0x044b10de 0x437b1002 0x43831002 0x75021039</string> <key>IOProviderClass</key> <stri i've been trying to patch vanilla sl applehda.kext to work with this sound card and to make it shown in system profiler but to no avail, maybe someone else could (or maybe guide me), or check to see if there are any other variants that are compatible with the id? this will surely benefit alot of amd users who has 00:14.2 Audio device [0403]: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA) [1002:4383]
  3. VIA Vinyl VT1708

hmm ive got c1e disabled too (my system wouldnt boot if its on anyway) and im still getting scratchy sound with voodoohda
  4. VIA Vinyl VT1708

thats really odd ive tried out the voodoohda and all i get is just distorted but if i mess around with the volume it would play some sound, i tried popping the jacks around and still the same result. did audio midi setup resolution change and still no luck. maybe asus' implementation of this chip is different than the rest.
  5. VIA Vinyl VT1708

i'm having similar problem as his and after trying out the kext u provided, i still don't get any sound. previously i could get audio running back in 10.5 EDIT: Ok I've managed to get audio working by using back my old AppleAzaliaAudio.kext from 10.5, but volume change from hotkey doesn't work, any possible workaround for this? Or maybe a newer version of AppleAzalia for 10.6?
  6. Atheros AR5007 working but not perfect. Heres the guide.

after i install the kext and reboot the card is working. if i shutdown another time i will say no airport card detected and i have to repeat cycle to get it working again.
  7. Atheros AR5007 working but not perfect. Heres the guide.

i got this kext running on my Acer Aspire One, thanks. but i'm having the same problem as althon's which is needing to reinstall the kext after every reboot. any solution to this yet?
  8. i'd like to thank this guide for getting my leopard up and running on my AAO A110. runs quite snappy on SSD actually with the ocassional lag due to the write and after installation, updates and using xslimmer, ive only got 1gb left. any software recommendation to slim down the installation furthermore?

hi is anyone having problem waking up their monitor after it goes to sleep (after a number of minutes)? mine just shows an empty blue screen
  10. G94(9600gt) is fully supported by new mbp drivers!

after struggling the entire night trying to get this working, i finally did it, its more simple to install actually. here's what i did 1. download the kexts 2. install the kexts into the Extensions folder 3. fire up EFIStudio and create a EFI GFX String 4. Reboot done There's no need to edit plist at all. resolution everything works... now to get sound and ps2 working hardware: ga-965p-ds3 rev 1.0, galaxy 9600GT OC Edition software: mac os x 10.5.5 vanilla kernel thanks to TS for posting this great discovery!
