  1. Andy's new kernel works just fine on 10.9.3 with an fx8350
  2. Thank you spakk, sorry I didn't think to check the prerelease testing thread. My bad.
  3. Alright so it's probably me screwing up something here again. Is there any chance you could tell me what kexts you replace when doing the upgrade? and whether I should directly use the 10.9.2 combo update or upgrade to 10.9.1 first?
  4. Has anyone else had extremely poor performance after upgrading to 10.9.2? I follow the instructions carlo posted. it boots to login without any unusual boot flags but the performance is terrible, like it runs better in safe mode terrible. This appears to be kernel independent as the problems occur with both the BSA v9 kernel and the v6 kernel. Does anyone have any similar experiences and/or any ideas on where I should start looking to figure out what's causing it.
  5. [AMD] Working Builds!

Two questions for you: 1: is there any chance you feel like providing a little bit more info about your install? My builds keep getting screwed up when upgrading to 10.9.2 from 10.9.1 so any tips would help. 2. How do you like that motherboard? I was thinking about buying it because I've been having some issues with my current board and its down to that one or the asus sabertooth
  6. [AMD] Working Builds!

OS: Maveriks 10.9.1 CPU: AMD FX 8350 Motherboard: AsRock Xtreme4 970 RAM: 16GB 1600Mhz (system only sees it as 667Mhz though) (Fixed: edited SMC and now it displays correctly) HDD: 500GB WD Blue USB : 2.0 All working 3.0 All working GPU: GTX660 LAN: Realtek RTL8111E WLAN: Netgear WNA1000m (yeah I know it sucks, but it was cheap while i wait for the OS X 10.9 drivers for my RTL8112au card) Sound: Working thanks to spakk Sleep: Appears to be working. KERNEL: Andy's R9 kernel Used Niresh's distro, after swapping his kernel with andy's system boots great with only the "GraphicsEnabler=No" flag. Apparently that's just an issue with my card card in particular as opposed to the entire 6xx series.
