  1. hey there, you mind sharing your files, including dsdt - I have the same motherboard but can't get sleep to work - black screen on waking. Appreciate it.
  2. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hey there MaLd0n, I was hoping you could take a quick look at my dsdt from a GA p35 ds4, everything seems to be working, except for sleep of course. I think I actually patched a GA p35 ds3r dsdt as the board resembles mine closely. Goes to sleep fine but wakes to a black screen. Hard reset. Another question I had is whether I can drop sleepenabler, NullCPUPowerManagment.kext and ElliottForceLegacyRTC.kext with a working DSDT. Preciate your time and effort... p35ds4dsdt.zip
  3. DSDT Patcher

Just wanted to report success on my p35-ds4. Thanks Roisoft, your AppleHDA and DSDT.aml work great. All as should be. Just one question, your pack also contained a dsdt.dsl, does this also go into the root folder? Works the same with or without. And any luck yet on the USB issue regarding waking from deep sleep?
  4. DSDT Patcher

Speedstep works, sound doesn't even after having patched my boot.plist with efistudio. Strange thing is though, that in my system preferences all the options appear, including for the first time optical digital in. But nothing from the speakers. In my system profiler I get the following under the audio option: Device ID: 0x1458A002 Audio ID: 12 Available Devices: (blank) Did you set something in the bios, or resort to any other trick. Thanks again.

thanks, just one question, what were you able to solve with your edited version? AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext work for you now?
  7. DSDT Patcher

Here's sharing my experience and hoping for some feedback: Gigabyte p35 ds4, installed everything according to the posts, compiled the DSDT file, placed the new boot file from netkas in the root directory and at first glance all boots fine. Deep sleep works, but when waking usb devices, like mouse and keyboard not working, having to hard boot back into my system. Tried both OS and Vista emulation, - XP won't work. Strange. Also with the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext installed I still get HPET at 0 error, ending in a kernel panic. Tried lifting the AppleEFIRuntime.kext, no change. Seems others are having the same problems. Anyone with this motherboard have success they want to share, or any other ideas? Thanks
