  3. I tried injecting the kext through clover. The modified kext with product & vendor id as per System profiler loads but the app still shows the same error Unmodified kext doesn't load at all
  4. I downloaded the latest driver. Its not installing the kext. I manually installed the kext by extracting it using Pacifist. It wasn't loading. Then I tried editing the Info.plist and adding the vendor & product id from System Profiler to RT5370 section. The driver loaded but the utility is not working. The preference pane shows the same result Help!! 5. I had followed this guide and everything was fine till Yosemite. Now I have upgraded to El Capitan and the guide is not working anymore. I used the same wireless driver for Yosemite and installed it using EasyKext Utility. After reboot the pref pane shows no wireless device found. The kext is being loaded as per kextstat kextstat | grep RT 31 0 0xffffff7f81e18000 0x8000 0x8000 com.apple.driver.AppleRTC (2.0) 30E31171-564B-35AC-930F-385EE149042E <11 5 4 3 1> 70 0 0xffffff7f810c0000 0x98000 0x98000 com.Ralink.driver.RT2870USBWirelessDriver (4.2.9) 6F8EAB45-6166-7B56-95E6-B44FDF8DDE57 <50 41 5 4 3 1> Please help. Unfortunately no success. I have attached my DSDT patched and dropped one (untouched), if its of any help. Also I am not using ACPIBacklight.kext as it is apparently breaking my brightness and 9mb cursor patch (if it has to do anything with sleep) Thanks! ACPI.zip

I am still not able to get sleep working. I will elaborate my issue. When I put windows to sleep the display goes off and the led on the power button starts blinking indicating its sleeping. Now, when I put OS X to sleep only the display goes off. The led is not blinking and after sometime it reboots the system. I tried checking if AppleLPC is causing the issue but its loaded properly. pmset -g also doesn't show any relevant issue for preventing sleep. Please help!!

Cool. I'll try. Also if I plugin my hdmi after the system has booted up, the monitor keeps flickering and no display is mirrored from os x. Any fixes for this?

I usually keep it full time on charge so haven't noticed. Will let you know. Also sleep causes random reboots, known issue?

I am finding El Capitan slower than Yosemite. Spotlight takes time to load etc. Is it the hackintosh or El Capitan itself is slow?
