  1. Mh, I already modded my AGPM with this: This lines are for a Mac Book which uses a GT 650 M which is similar to my GT 640
  2. @Taruga Sorry, but I don't think that doesn't make sense because when I use the MacPro 3,1 smbios.plist the AGPM isn't used. Greetings BanneJim
  3. @iFIRE Because the iMac10,1 has a Core2Duo in it?
  4. Hi, the CPU use doesn't go above 12% . Do you think it is a problem with Speedstep? Greetings BanneJim
  5. Hi, I have bought a new Gigabyte Nvidia Gt 640 OC. But my problem is that the graphic performance isn't great. I tried several things: 1. Change the smbios (switching to another model): MacPro3,1 ; MacPro4,1 ; MacPro5,1 2. Patching the AGPM GT 640 and AGPM unknownPlatform Fix. http://www.osx86.in/....ur-nvidia.html 3. deleting AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext 4. Installing the new Nvidia drivers The system is lagging when I maximize or minimize windows. Games (CS-GO) are running perfect. I've got a Core2Quad Q9400 on an Asus P5Q Pro with 8 GB RAM and a Samsung 830 128 GB SSD for the os. Thanks a lot Greetings BanneJim

Problem with Gigabyte GT640 OC 2GB

Hi, I want to use my Customac with the Gigabyte GT640 I bought. This one: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008J1O968/ Everything runs great. With my old Nvida 9600GT I had to run the installer and first boot with PCIRootUID=0. This isn't necessary with the new card. I have a Asus P5Q Pro and a Core 2 Duo Quad (Q9400) (I extracted a "clean" DSDT.aml with Ubuntu and patched it with the Asus P5Q Pro patch and a USB patch so the sleep also works). I also set GraphicsEnabler=0 in boot options. My problem is that the screen hangs at the start screen (Whitescreen + Applelogo). I made a picture of the verbose screen: I already tried different settings/actions PCIRootUID=1 PCIRootUID=0 switching DVI and a mixture of all of it... My Customac with 9600Gt worked with this DSDT.aml. ( Yes, because the 9600Gt isn't supported natively I had to setGraphicsEnabler=1 ) I would appreciate any kind of help because I'm totally clueless.... Greetings BanneJim
