Howdy droogs, Has anyone experienced that the default/on-board display doesn't always work on boot up? Thanks to the giants in this thread (and those that put in the hard work before them) with an emphasis on Loureiro for providing the guide in post #821. ML on my 1201n is a reality. I am still testing everything but this install (that I am writing this post on) is already better than my old Snow Leopard install (assessment based on never having had sleep or fn+f5 or f6 to dim or brighten the display).
Hi musikprylar, All told I don't have have a fully functioning ML 1201n, although I did receive the same failure as the one illustrated by your photo. I "believe" the problem is that the ML bootable USB was created improperly. Create your ML bootable USB using this method: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1401529 After years of lurking around InsanelyMac this is my 1st post. Cheers, e
