1. I had to use EFIStudio, choose Ethernet (or USB if you can, I have no clue), Add Device, copy hex to clip board and then add it to boot.plist Example, mine looked like this: <key>device-properties</key> <string>4b00000001000000010000003f0000000100000002010c00d041030a000000000101060003150101060000007fff0400160000006200750069006c0074002d0069006e0000000500000001</string>
2. Can someone take a look here? I couldn't figure out how to attach files via PM. My on board is ALC892. Currently I'm using Sound Blaster Audigy >.< Attached are my IOReg and Codec Dump. My board has no DSDT. codec_dump.txt Mac Pro.zip
3. iCloud via Safari works. iCloud via Internet Accounts will not sign in. Console: error=Error Domain=AOSErrorDomain Code=1000 "The operation couldn’t be completed. (AOSErrorDomain error 1000.)" 4. Installed the 892 kext but I don't know how to change the layout id to 4. Also, this board has no DSDT. AppleHDA.kext is not loading either.
5. Everything is in place and seems ok. Installed Taruga's AppleHDA.kext and HDAEnabler1.kext My layout is set to: 01 Tried VoodooHDA 2.8.4 with no luck Been working on it for 2 days and I'm at wits end. HDEF in IORE: IODeviceTree:/PCI0@180000/HDEF@14,2 IODeviceTree:/PCI0@180000/PC02@2/HDEF@0,1 YouTube works well accept that every 5 seconds or so it will freeze. If you bump the time ahead, it will continue but stop again in a few seconds. A Google search points to possibly it being an issue with audio. That sounded odd to me but with the sound not working it makes at least some sense.
6. 1693 posts in that thread. I'm not going to read them all to find the latest kernel. Is there a list somewhere? I joined IRC and said hello and no one said a word so I left =\ I did find a link there though for a 10.9 kernel, tried it and got a black screen and can't get it to pass with any flags.
7. Hi theconnactic, I have so much trouble finding what ever is the newest and or best for my setup. Could you point me in the right direction?
8. The IM forums: App store: Overview My sound icon goes grey about 5sec after boot. I've installed the drivers via ##### (not looking for support for #####, just pointing out they were installed). Icons missing in Finder (they sometimes pop in). Graphics: I can acces the OSX drive from windows for editing files. Any help or a point in the right direction would be great. With these graphical glitches, it's a pain in the rear using the OS at all. AMD FX-4100 ASUS HD 7770 Asrock 970 Extreme3 mach_kernel_10_9_rc2
9. After a flawless install of Niresh's 10.7.3 I decided to do the combo update to 10.7.5 after reading another thread about a successful update. Now upon restart I cannot boot into OSX (no panics, just restarts) no matter what flags I use. My boot.plist hasn't changed though so I shouldn't need flags (checking it from Windows, this is a dual boot). I'm new to this so I'm not sure where to start looking. Googling hasn't really helped either AMD FX 4100 ASRock 970 Extreme3
