  1. Anyone in London and can help me?

Hello, you have not provided any must have information. Just look at my signature as an example.
  2. Osx for i5 6600k z170 ?

so new imacs chipset is q170? what is the LPC device id? can't find it in AppleLPC.kext/info.plist.... thanks.
  3. Yosemite: Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA

Yes i know you've made instructions however if i enable node 17 - sound dies. That's why i asked you.
  4. Yosemite: Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA

if you're using clover bootloader you can also try ResetHDA key.
  5. Yosemite: Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA

Thanks for further explanation i've misunderstood it. One more question about alc887 on ga-z77-ds3h and s/pdif out. Here on my mobo spdif is on 17-16 pathmap. however if i will try to change 30-6 to 17-6 and of course change pinconfig for 17 and 30 nodes i get no sound in kexts from 10.9/10.10 do you know anything about it? i tried different pinconfings - no success same result - sound dies completely.
  6. Well in short right now i can't boot the system without applehda being disabled. Also Clover acts weird it ignores timeout key and with "fast" key it simply throws me into its menu with blue background and cylinders instead of icons. How did it happened, well i decided to modify my applehda kext and i blocked nid 28 and 29 just like voodoohda does according to its getdump utility output. Here are those nodes (from ALSA dump): Node 28 [Pin Complex] wcaps 4195457: Stereo Control: name="CD Phantom Jack", index=0, device=0 Pincap 36: IN Detect Pin Default 1091637744: [N/A] Speaker at Ext Rear Conn = 1/8, Color = Black DefAssociation = 15, Sequence = 0 Misc = NO_PRESENCE Pin-ctls: 32: IN Unsolicited: tag=00, enabled=0 Power states: D0 D1 D2 D3 EPSS Power: setting=D0, actual=D0 Node 29 [Pin Complex] wcaps 4195328: Mono Pincap 32: IN Pin Default 1074054657: [N/A] Line Out at Ext N/A Conn = RCA, Color = UNKNOWN DefAssociation = 0, Sequence = 1 Pin-ctls: 32: IN Power states: D0 D1 D2 D3 EPSS Power: setting=D0, actual=D0 I've blocked those nodes, placed my new pin config into legacy kext, put legacy kext like always into /efi/clover/kexts. However i decided to install AppleHDA with Kext Utility by cvad instead of installing it manually in /S/L/E. After i rebooted i got kernel panic, then i rolled back to my previous applehda and legacy kext - again i got kernel panic, then i removed legacy kext and still i got kernel panic. I can't even boot into yosemite installer without disabling applehda. What i've tried so far: sudo nvram -c upgrade / downgrade bios reset bios by unplugging battery reinstall clover. cleared all system caches Formated HDD Restored bios from backup bios "dual bios" AppleHDA in /System/Library/Extensions not patched, all patches done via clover, i use abxite's method replacing xml with zml. pinconfig is inside of legacy kext I was using Applehda since Mountain Lion and on Yosemite 2, until now. So AppleHDA is pretty native, excluding it has additional 2 zml files in its resources. Attaching config.plist and kernel panic report. I hope some1 will help me, cause i don't have any idea why system and installer still gets kernel panic with clean applehda, thanks. Excuse me for my english, i hope it is understandable. Well i finally found a solution, the reason of this odd behaveour was the new kext in 10.10.1 (v. 267) and wrong AMPs caused kernel panic because hardware codec started acting wrong itself. With kexts from previous versions like 266.5 there would be no sound at all but no kernel panic, until hackintosh will be booted with Clover's key ResetHDA. Once booted with this key solves the problem and no kernel panics because of native applehda. And once again clover saves the day! applehda kp.rtf

Toleda, can you please explain why do you have special hdmi layout for alc887? it has special nid 21 in both pinconfig and pathmaps but hdmi works without it, so what it is for? Thank you.
  8. Yosemite: Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA

Ok, well one guy told me that he had familiar problem once upon a time while he was using iMac model then he changed his smbios to mac pro and it solved a problem, well at least in your case i know it didn't helped. Btw are you using toleda's kext? I wondering about front green line out (headphones) are they working? because i know that working nodes for headphones are 27-13-3. toleda placed here 27-12-2. abxite and mirone used 27-38-37 I can't test it, because i don't have front line in/out. According to linux dump 27 node have 5 connections. Thanks for the info.

Well in 10.10 sound at least returns after 1-2 minutes. But this can happen multiple times. And can you tell me what is your SMBIOS model? mine is iMac13.1.
  10. Yosemite: Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA

Hello Toleda. I have following problem with AppleHDA since os x 10.9 and now on 10.10. After wake from sleep system will have no sound (at least output) in 10.10 the problem still occurs but sound will return after about 2 minutes or less. It seems like sound system was put in sleep (apple power saving idea on macbooks and imacs) and wake ups with delay. When sound loss occurs message appears in console log: Sound assertion in AppleHDAFunctionGroup at line 1053 I've tried special kext for my mb made by crunk was on 99 layout (front mic was not working). Right now i'm using slightly modified kext made by abxite for his motherboard and it seems the only difference was the codec adress 0 and mine is 2 and layout id is 86 right now. While experimenting with AppleHDA editing i've found that changing AFGLowPowerState from 01000000 to 03000000 will cause loud pops each time pressing Increase/Decrease Volume, while sound is gone. And i'm using clover to inject layout, fix hda, and bin patch the kext (abxite's method) I found this problem was mentioned and yours answers: I hope there is still probably any possible solution to try. May be changing layout to lower number 1/2/3/12 And also i would like to ask about AMP i've read that the AMP rule is: However researching edited kexts by you, Mirone, and others AMP is very different from that rule and on some nodes it is missing completely (i don't understand why) at Platforms.xml.zlib. Would you kindly help to find it out? Thanks! My ConfigData is 21871C10 21871D91 21871EA0 21871F90 21A71C20 21A71D31 21A71E81 21A71F01 21471C30 21471D40 21471E11 21471F01 21971C40 21971D90 21971E81 21971F02 21B71C80 21B71D40 21B71E21 21B71F02 21E71C90 21E71D61 21E71E45 21E71F01 21171CF0 21171D00 21171E00 21171F40 21271CF0 21271D00 21271E00 21271F40 21571CF0 21571D00 21571E00 21571F40 21671CF0 21671D00 21671E00 21671F40 21771CF0 21771D00 21771E00 21771F40 21F71CF0 21F71D00 21F71E00 21F71F40 Also i'm attaching my codec_dump.txt from linux, codec_dump.svg platforms and layout mb i've misunderstood something and did something wrong. Thank you! alc887-z77-ds3h.zip
  11. eep357, thank you for your reply i know how to install it manually however was wondering about this auto installer failure. Any way thanks.
  12. eep357, excuse me for duplicates my chrome buged out and i pressed "create topic" multiple times sorry for this. So it is ok that EFI folder created in the root filesystem? and i manually must move it to disk0s1 in order to get UEFI: my hdd working? o.0 Slice said that something went wrong and the installer must place all neccesary file and folders into my EFI partiton something went wrong and he can't help me because i didn't provide him information to find out what it is wrong ( i just don't know what other info).
  13. Hi there, the problem is i cannot install any bootloader Chameleon is not working on my hdd because of 4k sector, and the Clover (i'm interested in using it as bootloader) the strange thing is when i try to install it using the installer both in unpack mode and UEFI-bios it is installed in the system root "/" and not in the EFI partition of my mac os x lion, same thing ( i don't remember correctly, because it was on the previous installation) goes for chameleon. I don't really understand why this is happening and will other problems occur because of this? So my components are: Motherboard - ga-z77-ds3h rev 1.1 BIOS - F8 (Sata mode - AHCI; Intel VT - disabled) CPU - inter core i5-3570k Ivy Bridge RAM - Kingston, KVR16N11/8 HDD - Seagate Barracuda ST500DM002 (Bytes per sector 4096) My partition scheme is GUID, filesystem hfs+ OS - Mountain Lion 10.8.3 (installed making usb stick from installESD.img and tryied 3rd party usb installer with Chameleon 2.*) Clover bootloader clover installer - tried 2 versions of binaries Clover_v2_r971_pkg and Clover_v2_r1193 from sourceforge Here is my "diskutil list" output: /dev/disk0 #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: GUID_partition_scheme *500.1 GB disk0 1: EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1 2: Apple_HFS Macintosh HD 499.8 GB disk0s2 So my questions are: what may cause this problem occur? how to track it? And how to fix it? I don't know what other info may be useful to track the problem. Thank you for your attention and any help excuse me for my english.
