  1. Need help with Analog Devices AD1888

Sorry to bump, but I've the same sound card and I can't even get Leopard to recognize it. I definitely have the same sound card and the same chipset, AD1888 @ SiS 7012 and my southbridge is SiS too. I checked this post, but links are broken. Could someone please let me know how to get it working? Thanks and cheers.
  2. [WORKING]SiS900 Ethernet Driver

    Yeah SiS191 would be great!
  3. Hi, I downloading Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD and I can't see my SATA hard disk on the disk utility. I've an ASUS P5SD1-FM2 Southbridge SiS 965 Chipset SiS 649 I've a P4 524 3.06 GHz, 1 GB RAM, Nvidia 6200 256 MB, and a 250 GB SATA Hard Disk. I can install JaS 10.4.5 through vmware2native method but it will get stuck on "Still waiting for root device" while booting natively. On a vmware 6.5 Virtual HD 10.4.5 works fine. Kalyway booted fine, without any problems, It recognizes my DVD drives (reader and burner) and also USB pendrives, but I just can't see my HD. I hear about integrating SATA drivers to the DVD, but I've no idea how has this to be done and how to make it or if it's possible. Any help or ideas? Thanks and cheers.
  4. Hi, I'm trying to install Mac OS X 10.4.8 JaS on VMware to boot later natively. I installed it some months ago and It worked perfectly, with the same version of VMware as I had before (6.0.2). I had to format my PC and installed VMware again, same version. Now when booting the DVD the first time on the Virtual Machine, I got the DMA warning, clicked "Never show this message again", and reset the virtual machine and boot again. Now, it gets stuck here, saying "Still waiting for root device" over and over again, so I cannot install it: In the logs I still can see the DMA warning: Nov 22 11:31:57.601: vcpu-0| APIC THERMLVT write: 0xdc Nov 22 11:31:58.976: vcpu-0| SVGA: Unregistering IOSpace at 0x10e0 Nov 22 11:31:58.976: vcpu-0| SVGA: Registering IOSpace at 0xfffffff0 Nov 22 11:31:58.976: vcpu-0| SVGA: Unregistering IOSpace at 0xfffffff0 Nov 22 11:31:58.976: vcpu-0| SVGA: Registering IOSpace at 0x10e0 Nov 22 11:32:00.789: vcpu-0| VIDE: (0x1f0) Not supporting Feature request: 0xaa Nov 22 11:33:12.711: vcpu-0| Msg_Hint: msg.vide.noATAPIDMA (sent) Nov 22 11:33:12.711: vcpu-0| Your virtual machine has sent an ATAPI (CD-ROM) command that is supported only when programming the drive via DMA. Note: I cannot install it natively because my HD is SATA and the OSx installation won't recognize my HD. The first time I installed it on VMware, was with the same DVD, I've 10.4.4 and 10.4.8 DVD's, and they boot fine natively, in VMware I just get these warnings and cannot get into the installation. Any help? Thanks.
  5. Hi. I have a Pentium 4 524 64 bits 3.06 GHz, 1 GB RAM, NVidia Geforce 6200 and 250GB Harddrive SATA. When I'm in the disk utility, I don't see my hardrive, I only see the DVD reader. I was trying with 10.4.4 and 10.4.8 versions. Is there any posibility to install Mac OS X in this hardrive?? I have got a SiS 649 (chipset) SiS 965 (southbridge) Model P5SD1-FM2 Thank you.
