  1. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

No I don't have nVidia Intel ®Core™ i3-380M Processor o 2.53 GHz, 3MB Cache  Mobile Intel ® HM55 Express Chipset  Mobile Intel ® HD Graphics with 64MB-1696MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory
  2. [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI

My Hackintosh Niresh Lion 10.7.2 is booting with native resolution using the chameleon module, however there's no CI/QE! the OP only has info for ML and Maver Any tips to get Lion working here? it's a toshiba Satellite A665-S5170 i3 Laptop btw. tia
  3. OSX and Windows Hibernation

After further testing, custom DSDT was not the culprit However updating Chameleon to latest revision 2.2 - 2344 seems to fix the issue
  4. OSX and Windows Hibernation

it seems the custom dsdt is behind this problem, but i need to test more to confirm
  5. I'm posting this here because OSX Lion 10.7.3 along with Windows 7 Ultimate and XP is what I have now, but I believe this is common problem and should exist with newer versions of OSX and windows too. So my setup is as follows: HDD 1 TB 3 partitions NTFSXP/HFS-Journaled-OSXLion/NTFS-7 Grub2dos is installed and I can select any partition upon booting my PC. OSX is booted from grub via "tboot" which loads chameleon on the hfs partition with all the bootflags and DSDT patches needed to optimize the OSX All works well unless I hibernate windows 7!! In this situation OSX either fails to load directly after hibernating windows 7, most of the time it loads the second time (after the panic that is), but sometimes it won't load at all (waiting for root device) I know that during hibernation it's unsafe to touch the hibernation partition, but what I'm looking for is a way to forcefully mount the hibernating windows partition as read only. This way I can work under Lion without disturbing the hibernating Win7 and resume hibernation in a fast way whenever needed. what tools/boot scripts or helpful workaround can help me achieve this, expert help needed. TIA Abz
  6. Ok then, I'm trying to contact John Dalgliesh the MMinput author, hopefully we can have the sources. fingers crossed
  7. what about VLC? it has a plugin for eyetv already or this: http://defyne.org/dvb/driver_architecture.html or "xbmc" it's open source" http://mirrors.xbmc.org/releases/source/xbmc-12.3.tar.gz
  8. We can try to make the "video in" work first using any useful tool for that matter (not only iTV, maybe an AverTV app like volar tool or by editing the old avermedia driver and tool for osx) I know it will be hard to find the starting point, by I'm sure after that the tweaking should not be that complicated.
  9. Sources for the AverTV Multimedia Controller Driver: http://www.cs.fsu.edu/~baker/devices/lxr/http/source/linux/drivers/media/dvb/frontends/zl10036.c and so on...
  10. 1. iTV (already supports avermedia and philips tuner) 2. not needed in this case 3. We can start working on the kext as soon as we get linux sources, we already have the datasheets Right?
  11. ah, thanks I remember exprimenting with dsdt stuff at some stage. In the mean time, what about adding the Live Cam Driver to macam given that the linux sources are there? will that also need macam sources too?
  12. Ok, thanks for the info, I'm waiting for Tino to tell me if he's still keeping the sources. I'll post all the news later. P.S> when I first installed the hackintosh the card appeared in "system report" under "pci Devices" as Philips Semicontucters blabla.... but now I can only detect it using a third party app. I have no idea which driver was responsible for this detection, I even tried to reinstall all TV tools I got with no success in getting it showing under "pci" again. Any clues?
  13. I thought a dev can provide a "multimedia controller" driver template which we can edit or any other ready made template that can be useful. If a template is there, will the datasheet be enough?
  14. you mean sources for linux driver? at linux-dvb they only refer to "patches" and datasheets I can ask Tino about them if needed As for MMinput it's only compatible with powerpc afaik and I have no idea about the sources
  15. As for the webcam "creative Live! video Pro IM 041e:4055 using Ali m5603c driver" It's working fine under linux using the 0402:5603 ALi Corp. USB 2.0 Q-tec Webcam 300 and for 041e:4055 Creative Technology, Ltd Live! Cam Video IM Pro http://m560x-driver.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/m560x-driver/m560x/branches/m5603c-gspca/ The driver can be added to macam to make it work in MAC OSX I installed xcode and am willing to try converting the linux drivers to mac. Is there a guide or instructions somewhere. Any help would be appreciated.
