1. Hi guys, I followed the steps for the UEFI install, but I am stuck on Root device UDID IS: (Insert UDID here) Any help? My CPU is a Celeron N2940. I do have a kernel for the celeron chip lying around somewhere, but with this method (using createinstallmedia) I can't seem to find anywhere I can insert the kernel file. Cheers, Cameron.
2. Apologies on the portals. With clover, it would get stuck on either root device UDID is: (insert UDID) followed by an array of plus's underneath. Often it would do the same when it tries loading the drivers. That is when its booting to the USB medium (with clover on another USB)
3. Hey Jah stories. The usb install media which I've tried often refuses to work with the laptop. Even with the assistance of clover. For the meantime, I'd rather be best end up using a VM of retail snow using #####.
4. Hi folks. Okay, I am still relatively new to the world of hackintoshing, with it once being successfully done on my AMD rig (Thanks Shaneee if you're reading this) But now, I want to see if it'll run on my laptop, below are the specs. CPU: Intel Celeron n2940 Ram: 2GB DDR3L (I know its small, but im planning to upgrade) HDD: 500GB WD Blue or Seagate Drive of sorts. Graphics: Believed to be HD4000? I could be wrong Current OS: Windows 10 x64 Legacy or UEFI: UEFI preferred. Any help welcome, I've tried several distros with no luck to booting. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or not, but yeah. I do have access to these distros, as well as retail of snow leopard (dmg) and Yosemite (app store through VM) Cheers, Cameron.

iATKOS ml3u

Guys, I'm getting to my wits end... I've tried creating a usb of ML3u through a VM which had worked, and boots on my amd rig (uefi selected in boot menu and machine I used) but not on my laptop (Intel Celeron n2940) When plugged in, it recognises the drive in uefi and bios modes, but refuses to boot, causing it to loop back to the main boot loader Any help welcome. Cameron. To add mention, the Intel machine had worked with a modified version of snow leopard..

Graphic/Kernel Issue?

All good Shane. I was just checking. To anyone else. Is there a way I can cause the GPU to detect the second monitor? I've already tried adjusting the SMBIOS with no avail.

Graphic/Kernel Issue?

Hey guys, So I managed to finally get El Capitan working on my system! (Yay) However, I am noticing a slight bug in some UI elements. Another forum had told me its the kernel which could be an issue, but could it be something else also? If this is Kernel related, is there another working kernel which I can try? See the attached files, so you get a better understanding of what I mean. Cheers, Cameron. Edit: This is for an AMD rig.

Cant boot! (Enoch and El Cap)

Hi Guys, I managed to try Shaneee's method of creating a USB for el cap on AMD. But for some reason it is not booting on my system. The prep for the USB had been done in VMWare since I do not have a pre-existing hackintosh machine or a MacBook etc.. All I get is the following on screen, followed by a reboot: boot0:GPT boot0:Done Any ideas? My specs Mobo: AsRock fm2a88m-hd+ Motherboard CPU: AMD A8-6600k RAM: 16GB DDR3-1600 Crucial Ram GPU: EVGA nVidia GeForce GT740 SC Storage: 2x1tb Drives w/ 120GB SSD. OS: Windows 10 Pro x64
