1. [pre-release] macOS High Sierra

If this helps anyone I got past this KP with the following under ACPI <key>DropTables</key> <array> <dict> <key>Signature</key> <string>MATS</string> </dict> </array>
2. [pre-release] macOS High Sierra

Now it gets the same kernel panic as my OP Thanks a lot for your help so far
3. [pre-release] macOS High Sierra

Removed OSXAptiofixDrv and used OSXAptiofixDrv2 and gets stuck on the attached. Also now my BIOS seems to screw up after booting the installer. I have to load optimised defaults and set my options back to boot into my main install.
4. [pre-release] macOS High Sierra

Thanks! Tried adding those sensor plugins to FakeSMC and adding Nullcpupowermanagement.kext and same issue. I don't use a DSDT with my Yosemite main install. Before I tried using my SSDT in ACPI/Patched and same issue so I am not using it in the installer now. Edit: Tried using my SSDT in ACPI/Patched and same as attached Thanks! Serial port already disabled (updated OP) and set xHCI to Enabled. Tried your EFI and I get the attached. It's something!
5. [pre-release] macOS High Sierra

Hi Guys would appreciate any help. I'm getting a kernel panic as attached when booting the installer for High Sierra dev beta 9. I've tried also tried the Public beta. USB installer with createinstallmedia Clover r4189 Only FakeSMC kext (no plugins) in Other apfs.efi from BaseSystem in drivers64UEFI Boot arguments: -v kext-dev-mode=1 maxmem=4096 BIOS options: XMP Memory - Profile1 Internal Graphics: Disabled xHCI - Auto xHCI Hand-off / EHCI Hand-off - Enabled OS Type: Other Boot mode selection: UEFI Only VT-d - Disabled Edit: Serial port - Disabled EFI with debug.log attached and specs are in my sig. EFI.zip
6. It's in the extensions from BaseSystem.dmg, remove it and then copy in ATIRadeonX3000 from DP3.
7. Ahh thank you Arthur! Now the isntaller boots I didn't understand what you meant by your last reply, but now I see from your link that I had to remove AMDRadeaonAccelerator and put in the DP3 ATIRadeonX3000. My 6738 device ID was already in ATI6000controller, so I was confused!
8. I have all those ID's in my ATI6000controller (v8.0.39) on my installer USB ..checked BaseSystem and they are in there too ?? Tried pasting in the ID's but not working. I get a white screen before the installer loads, but no mouse cursor, it has random flashing purple horizontal lines. I've also tried removing ATI6000controller and using the one from DP3, GE N & Y, -x & -f flags, a different AtiConfig.. but no luck
9. Thanks! But I don't know what you mean by 'to see if you have dev id' and I have no atiradeonx3000 in my installer kexts, only x2000.
10. I can't boot into the installer, I get a white screen with flashing purple lines before the UI loads. I did the same method as DP3 upgrade and I have an MSI 6870 ..anyone know the problem?
11. installed Ubuntu on one of the partitions on my boot drive, but now i am getting the Grub bootloader showing and booting into OS X doesnt work. how do i make Chameleon load before Grub? and also can you boot Ubuntu on ext4 from Chameleon? EDIT: grub ended up writing over Chameleon on the MBR. so just needed to boot using ##### and then reinstall Chameleon. then boot with Ubuntu live CD and reinstall Grub to the partition and not the MBR.
12. ive installed 3.1.1 from the light install, then have run the guest unlocker, then installed the 10.6 VM. when i attempt to open the VM it freezes here http://cl.ly/1q2x03200s3R0X0z2R2o. osx command - http://cl.ly/2d25292C3W2e0X140M1M now i just get this - http://cl.ly/2Q213U462427081c011B any ideas?
13. thanks it seems it was a USB issue with the keyboard though. i had my Apple keyboard plugged into one of the third row of USB ports and moving it back to the second row seemed to fix it. maybe not all of my USB ports are fully functional? no panics while booted, for now!
14. anyones Core i5 hack kernel panicking when logging into websites? i seem to get sporadically and no panic logs are left. anyone know the cause or fix? maybe a USB fault?
15. audio was the hardest thing to get working for me. i have the UD4P with ALC889a. get your mobo's DSDT from tony's blog, put AppleHDA in System's Extensions and LegacyHDA_ALC888B in Extra's Extensions from the tonymacx86-snowleopard zip (or LegacyHDA from treky which i use, not sure if they are different) then make a cache for both Extensions folders. keep working at it using different methods if it doesnt work. the audio might start working before rebooting which happened to me. also i started to get crappy audio after a while, but fixed this by re-doing my own DSDT (tony has instructions on this in his DSDT downloads).
