    *Nix, Java & Hack!
  1. a bit confusing seeing this post without quote >.< maybe there's a quote button for another reason.
  2. I don't wanna sounds desperate but the fact is, I give up trying to make my 5570 (0x675F1002) QE/CI enabled. Now I just trying my onboard GeForce 7025/nForce 630a QE/CI enabled. this is my detail. AMD II X2 240. 10.8.4 Manually inject 0x03D610de&0xffe0ffff to NVDAGF100Hal.kext boot with GE=Y/N stuck at macx_swapon SUCCESS (waited for about 30 minutes and nothing changes) Am I doing it wrong? or there's no onboard gpu support on amd?
  3. ATI Radeon HD5570 & Mountain Lion

  4. @NOMAD8459 I guess you are familiar with *Nix environment. AHCI driver for windows has nothing to do with AHCI driver (kext) in OSX. If your installer can't find your HDD, it means you really should install that kext. To install that kext into your installer media, you just copy it into /S/L/E and fix permission. (just take a look at another file at /S/L/E and make it same with chmod and chown). since you are using AMD Processor, you can't use mach_kernel, the only AMD kernel that I can suggest is amd_kernel by Andy Vandjick. just put it in root of your installer media and make file permission same as mach_kernel. and don't forget to add amd_kernel arch=x86_64 as boot flags.
  5. Booting ML from USB

The thing that makes you could boot into some disk is bootloader. to boot properly you need bootloader installed on your disk, one example for great bootloader is Chameleon (based on my experience) and to install that Chameleon bootloader into your disk there is many ways. you could install it from Chameleon Wizard. To get your IDE HDD working, you could use IOATAFamily.kext But, I'm not sure you can use it on USB-HDD.
  6. Animations slow down

I'm not sure I can help you. but if you post your detail (full spec, installed kexts, changed and patched file) maybe our friends here could help you. It may be easier to see your problem.
  7. Animations slow down

"....turned on for about 30 minutes...." Is it sleep or you just using it without leaving your laptop?
  8. Tried before. nothing changes. and now my screen sharing won't work xD is it kext problem or just plain unsupported resolution/refresh rate?
  9. I read that. I just Copied /S/L/E/{AMD*,ATI*} from my working updated mac (laptop). Changed SMBIOS to iMac12,2 Added 0x657f1002 to ATI5000Controller.kext/Content/Info.plist boot with 'GraphicsEnabler=Yes AtiConfig=Eulemur npci=0x{2000/3000} -v -f' and..... My LCD (VGA cable) can't display it. I call this progress! Fortunately I turn screen sharing on I knew my LCD can display properly in 1280x960 at 75Hz. I set screen resolution to as I mentioned before, and it simply can't displaying my desktop. My LCD says "Cannot Display This Video Mode" just like another LCD while can't reach bigger screen resolution / refresh rate. In screen sharing client side, I barely see "About This Mac" because the screen is almost full of flicker. But I'm pretty sure it displaying Graphics (My card was detected!) Any suggestion what should I do next? thanks for your help so far PS: I don't have any LCD working.
  10. ATI Radeon HD5570 & Mountain Lion

This is my spec: Athlon II X2 240 Processor Gigabyte M68M-S2P Mainboard Gigabyte GV-R557D3-1GI Card OS X 10.8.4 via iATKOS ML2 Tried: Manually inject 0x675f1002 into ATI5000Controller and AMDRadeonAccelerator within Turks section. Ge=Y/N AtiConfig=Turks/Eulemur/Vervet/OrangUtan/Redwood Extract rom from windows, put in /Extra and name it as 1002_675f.rom/1002_675f_254B1458.rom/1002_675f_1458254B.rom UseAtiROM=Y/N What I got: Stuck at boot (5~8 first line) while UseAtiROM=Yes. LCD out-of-rate (VGA Cable/I don't have any DVI or DVI to VGA converter). The only way to get my desktop / login screen is via Screen Sharing. And this is what I got: and that's not QE/CI though. Additional question: I see some AppleHDAController fail to load, Should I find kext for this Card audio to get QE/CI? ( I stil can use my onboard audio) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  11. @theconnactic I dunno who you are reply for but if it's me I will gladly describe my detail: Board: M68M-S2P CPU: Athlon II X2 240 OS: 10.8.4 (Updated from iAtkos ML2) Graphics Card: (Addons) Radeon HD 5570 First boot after installed I can't reach login screen, it stuck and I got solutin from this forum. I deleted All /S/L/E/ATI* /S/L/E/GeFo* /S/L/E/AppleIntel* I tried and edit(add 0xblablabla in Info.plist) many kext. I tried many boot flags, UseAtiROM=(Yes/No) AtiConfig=(Eulemur/Hoolock/Shrike) with GE=Yes but won't boot but with GE=No So, I there something I missed about this kext? I noticed theres .bundle and .plugin for each ATI/NVDA kext. I copied those file to /S/L/E and chown and chmod too. and I rebuild the kext cache too. And of course I've tried -f boot flags. I see some thread get 5570 works but only for SL. I just curious, my fellow hackint0sh user. Is there any way to get this works? I don't mind to do RTFM. Just give me a bunch of writings and I will sincerely read that Forgive my noobness. Marl.
  12. usb problem

Hey buddy, try boot with -v flags and take a picture while it stuck. So, our friends here can read what's wrong.
  13. Hi Devs! I got this windows installed box. And this is my graphics card. I tried and edit many kext on 10.8.4 but still no works. can anyone tell me what should I read about how kext works, why kext not load and so so, please? and based on this image below, I thought my card is 5570 right?
  14. Readed, did. But I can't find how to make (custom) vendorid_deviceid_subvendorid.rom for my device on both site. Where's should I find it?
  15. Hiya Devs! I had some problems. Here's my detail: AMD Athlon II X2 240 GA-M68M-S2P iATKOS ML2 updated to 10.8.4 Deleted /S/L/E/ATI*, /S/L/E/AppleIntel* and /S/L/E/GeForce* Andy's AMD Kernel Get this atibeta4a1.zip installed Added 0x675f1002 to /S/L/E/ATI6000Controller.kext/Contents/Info.plist Boot with "amd_kernel arch=x86_64 -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes -f UseAtiROM=Yes AtiFb=Eulumer" and got this Tried: "amd_kernel arch=x86_64 -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes -f UseAtiROM=YES" "amd_kernel arch=x86_64 -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes -f UseAtiROM=YES PCIRootUID=0" "amd_kernel arch=x86_64 -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes -f UseAtiROM=Yes PCIRootUID=1" still stuck but with "GE=NO" Actually I'm not sure what type/series this card is. My friend gave me and tell me this is 5570. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
