    FileVault 2

It seems it does, unfortunately. So no driver around? Any other solution?

    FileVault 2

Hi! I would like to get FV 2 running on my lenovo x220 laptop with mavericks. I tried every possible driver combination mentioned in this thread. But there is no keyboard input possible at login screen. Before Clover starts is says Ami Shim installation failed. Any ideas?

Hey folks, longtime user of this fantastic pack on my t420. Now I want to switch to x220. Can I basically just swap the harddrive(s)? I'm looking for the i7 version with usb 3. What else to consider? Thanks!

@tluck Thanks a lot, gonna try it out in the next days and report back! @arix the "/f" option does not show up in my bcdboot, maybe because it's and older version? but bcdboot itself does not work.

@tluck yes, there is a bcd in /efi/microsoft/boot but it appears to be empty (just 8kb big). When I do "dir bcd*" it tells me there's one 1 file with 0 directories. So I tried with the bcd from the install dvd and to make a new one like described here: http://windowsitpro.com/systems-management/build-bootable-bcd-scratch-bcdedit But at some point I always get the same (or a pretty similar) error message: "the memory for the start configuration files could not be opened. The requested system device can not be identified because several indistinguishable devices potentially match the identification criteria" (translated from german) Maybe something has gone wrong during Windows 7 install?

@tluck unfortunately no progress. I changed the second EFI in a microsoft basic data partition, assigned the EFI a letter and proceded like you adviced. But the "bcdedit /enum" command isn't working. It tells me it can't access the memory because their are two similar places (sort of, it's in german...). I also tried bcdedit /set, but always get the same message. I have another EFI partition on my SSD, could that cause the confusion?

@tluck Thank you! I deleted the NTSF partition made by Disk Utility and let the windows installer do the formating (which also created another efi partition, disk0s4...). So that worked and I could install Windows 7 on my prefered partition. But the repair from the install dvd does not work. I tried bcdboot (bcdboot c:\windows /s s:) from command line after assigning letter S to efi partition, but I always get a [c000003a]-error, I tried that with the different efi's. Also I could not add /f uefi to the command as described in this thread, there is a /m possibility, I tried that but no effect. Any ideas what to do? Thanks, juniorprofi

Hey everybody, trying to install Windows 7 on my t420 from a DVD I created by downloading the Windows 7 installer. Strangly the installer tells me that I can't install on a particular partition because it's MBR, but it is GUID in fact. I want to install on disk1s4 partition. Any ideas? Thanks, juniorprofi /dev/disk0 #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: GUID_partition_scheme *120.0 GB disk0 1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1 2: Apple_HFS SSD 119.7 GB disk0s2 /dev/disk1 #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: GUID_partition_scheme *1.0 TB disk1 1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk1s1 2: Apple_HFS Pladde 899.7 GB disk1s2 3: Apple_Boot Recovery HD 650.0 MB disk1s3 4: Microsoft Basic Data 99.7 GB disk1s4 /dev/disk2 #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: GSP1RMCPRXFRER_DE_DVD *3.3 GB disk2

Hey tluck & guys, I have the following problem on my t420 / 10.9.4: The sensitivity of my internal microphone is always at 100%, regardless of how the control is set. Therefore it's always distorted. Any ideas? Thanks, juniorprofi

@ tluck yeah, I also tried every card reader kext i could find. It always gets recognized as internal card reader but it never works. I think I'll go for a Express Card reader then.

Just wanted to say thanks to tluck and everybody involved for the great work, really easy install and works like a charm! Two questions though: - Is there any chance to get the card reader running (some kext...)? - And will the express card slot work with any mac compatible card (usb 3, firewire, cardreader)? Thanks juniorprofi
