  1. Kernel Panic - BlueTooth related?

Hi there everyone, I am a real newbie at Hackintosh builds but having built Windows PC's for years and having several in my house, I thought I would give it a go. I bought some high spec components and built what I think is a solid basis for a Hackintosh. I followed all the instructions and installed ML but have a problem when I try to boot into OS X. I have a grey screen with the apple logo and it is stuck there. I booted using -v and took some photos which I attach below. Please can someone help me to get over this problem. I wonder if it is related to my wi-fi / bluetooth card - should I take it out of the motherboard first? Thanks all in advance Chris System Spec: Corsair Obsidian 650D Case Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP5-TH (includes the bluetooth adapter) Intel Core i7 3770K Corsair 750W PSU EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti Signature 2 SanDisk Extreme SSD 120GB 32GB Corsair Vengance Mountain Lion

  5. Kernel Panic (I think)

Hi all, Well I tried all of the above suggestions from LatinMcG and Carbo178 but without success. I still boot to a full grey screen (past the one with the Apple logo) and am left with a mouse pointer that then turns to the spinning rainbow. I used -v and post below the screen shots just before it hangs. Can anyone help to diagnose the problem? I am determined not to be defeated!! Thanks Chris
  6. Kernel Panic (I think)

OK cool thanks Carbo. Will give it a try. English is perfect by the way. Chris
  7. Kernel Panic (I think)

Cool thanks a lot guys. Will give it a try tomorrow. Carbo, how do I change the video output? Will let you know how I get on. Chris
  8. Kernel Panic (I think)

Hi there, thanks everyone for your great suggestions. I managed to copy the kext files across OK and then booted up again. Unfortunately I did not get what I was hoping for and so am looking for some more advice please. When I boot using the onboard graphics of my MB (ASUS P8H61-M LX2) it all looks to be going well. I boot past the grey Apple logo screen and then I get to a full grey screen with a mouse pointer which then turns to the rainbow swirly circle and that's how it stays until I switch it off. If I boot using my graphics card (ASUS NVidia Geforce GT630) then it all just goes blank and switches off and I get a lost signal from my screen even though the PC is still switched on. Can anyone help? Would really appreciate some advice again to get me to the promised land of Mountain Lion Hackintosh Thanks. Chris
  9. Kernel Panic (I think)

Hey Artur, great image by the way - Pirates! Thanks for replying, I appreciate it. I am confused by your response, still new to this game. How do I use the nullcpupowermanagement.kext? Sorry to be so dumb but this is all new and not sure how to use your advice thanks Chris
  10. Kernel Panic (I think)

Hi there, hope you can help me with this one. I followed the instructions which are perfectly written and managed to install OSX ML. So far so good. Great I thought, here we go but when I try to boot into the hard drive I get what I believe is a kernel panic. I used the -v option and then took a screen shot with my iphone which I attach here (sorry about the flash, this was the best of 10 I took with & without flash) My system is ASUS P8H61-M LX2 Motherboard Intel i5 Processor ASUS NVidia Geforce GT630 Graphics 8GB RAM Seagate Barracuda 1TB hard drive Please can you help. I have tried everything I can based on the help files on the forum but nothing seems to work. I wonder if it is to do with my MB Bios? Thanks to anyone out there willing to help out a newbie Chris
