  1. Hey, I haven't had much time lately to test it, but I just upgraded to 10.6.8 and I get a panic error. I can't boot at all, even with -x -v The problem seems to be with fakesmc.kext , i copied it after the upgrade because I saw it was needed for a similar motherboard to mine. Any ideas ? Thanks!
  2. You, sir, are my hero! It worked. The DVDRW was IDE and connected to 80wire but it was set as slave. It's installing right now. Thank you!!
  3. I've tried to change all the settings in BIOS and still no luck. Here is a screen, maybe it gives you some information Really?
  4. Thanks for the reply! I've read the BIOS settings template and will try it shortly. This will sound noobish but...how do I install a kext? I can't get to install the OS, I thought I have to install the kext afterwards. I've read some other posts saying that you can load custom kext in ModCD but I can't see any option to do so. The version of the ModCD I am using is 0.3.2. I also tried 0.3.1. So how can I install AppleNForceATA.kext before installing the OS ? I will edit my post after I try changing the BIOS settings Thanks!
