  3. EFiX: OSx86 gone commercial?

I think netkas just said earlier that he was able to update fropm 10.5.0, to 10.5.3 just like an real apple mac user. as for driver, this is an EFI, not anything else. then you should just ge a real mac.... really... there would be no hassle.
  4. And just when you thought the PowerPC was dead...

I wonder if this thing can run Mac OS X unmodified? or better yet, PS3!
  5. Booting vanila's dvd.

I do agree that this is a real nice community which I begin to love, but no I don't think it's the end. a lot of people still just want to try without buying anything. There are many folks like to tingker with a computer. That's where this forum can help each other. What I'm trying to say is, don't be afraid of new things. If this forum goes out, then there will probably other forum created to solve problem from "a new thing", and we probably meet again there.
  6. Booting vanila's dvd.

We want more..we want more.. oh come on netkas, don't make us suffer like this. please hury up with the review. so many questions. we're dying here.

  8. there is a solusion in http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...=107899&hl= might work, chek it out.
  9. i encounter the same thing, except it was worst. I think what i did wrong was replace every file on the guide. in the pacifist there is an option to replace or to update. i use replace on all of them, there fore it replace the apps when actually it does not contain all the file of the apps. just the several content of it (use show package content on both the update and the original apps, and you'll see what i mean). for instance the address apps in the update combo is around 15mb, where the orig is 47mb. so when i select "replace" it actually delete the original and palce th e 15mb address app. I don't know if choosing "update" would be any different, but i think this is what i did wrong. a temporary fix would be to copy the original apps back.

  13. Time Issue on Dual Boot XP & Mac OSX

hi there fellow indonesian. what i did was a bit lazy way. since my main os is Leopard. I set the correct time and time zone in Lepard. in XP i just use a time zone that reflect the right time.
  14. Parallels 3 5582 - CPU goes crazy

changing to vmware is right. searching more intense, i found that the vmmain.kext making the trouble. unloading solve the 2-3 second cpu loading problem. but then you can't run parallel. the best way.... unfortunately, goto vmware. work really good. one thing that puzzle me though. using geekbench, i got around 1800 with leopard. using parallel with xp i got 1100. here is the cool part. using vmware with xp i got around 2500. go figure. )
