  1. New AGPGart

Unfortunately, unless I'm mistaken, I can't run EFI on this old P4
  2. New AGPGart

Just a little update here, I've all but given up on resolution change for my setup, I have tried every combo I can think of, the best i have so far is stuck at 1024x768@60 Hz, with HW QE/CI. Every injector/plist edit I've tried gives me a blue screen with cursor, even with the IONDRVSupport.kext Slice mentioned earlier, makes no difference. In short, X1300 Pro AGP ID 7142 is not currently fully compatible with Leo, at least in my setup with no-EFI.
  3. New AGPGart

I installed Leo4All (it was the only one that would even get to the installer) with no-efi stuff and no drivers except my wireless, and a coupla apps. This gives me version 10.5.2, with no ATIRadeon kexts. System profiler shows software CI and not supported for QE, ran the Leopard Graphics Update and now CI is HW Accelerated and QE is supported, however still stuck at 1024x768@60 Hz with mouse tearing, System Profiler shows as PCI card. The LGU installed ATI kexts. Then ran OpenMark, results attached. Then installed SiSagp.kext, now System Profiler shows AGP card, CI is HW Accelerated and QE is supported, however still stuck at 1024x768@60 Hz with mouse tearing. Then ran OpenMark, results attached. Versions attached, if you need/want more info, please let me know what info and how best to obtain it. I will try mouse locator and natit now, but i couldnt find the natit you mention anywhere, gonna try natit_auto BTW, where to get transparent png for mouselocator? OpenMark_resultAGP.txt OpenMark_resultPCI.txt versions.txt
  4. New AGPGart

so now I did Leopard Graphics Update, and have agp and hardware accel, qe/ci too! only thing is mouse artifacts and no resolution change any tips?
  5. New AGPGart

I understand Sisagp.kext is not yours, my point was that it was the IONDRVSupport.kext 1.4.3 that actually allowed the Sisagp to work, and wondered if this info would help you to support this SIS chipset in AGPGart... I know a very little C++, I haven't used it since making mod for HL2, but maybe I could install VS again to see if something I can do to help... So you mean if I have AGP with AGPGart AND/OR SisAGP, I should be having my x1300 pro, devid 1002x7142 working? I tried modbin, natit, old tiger kexts, nothing I do can work, but it is using AGP now.
  6. New AGPGart

OK, with IONDRVSupport.kext and SiSAgp.kext, I now have AGP instead of PCI, but if I add ATIx1000.kext, its black screen freeze, any ideas?
  7. New AGPGart

OK I tried this SiSAGP.kext, doesn't load. I do believe this is the one I had to use in Tiger to get AGP, but in Leo nothing works. I don't know where to find document for SiS chipset. Anything else I can do? Thanks Yes before I added my devid, it had no effect at all, with my devid blue screen and cursor etc. I notice you are using EFI, I am not....Related?
  8. New AGPGart

I did not edit AGP_HOST, my AGPGart has only <key>HOST_Base</key> <integer>0</integer> in the Info.plist I have tried modbin, with that I only get blue screen and mouse cursor, no desktop or finder or anything Thank you
  9. New AGPGart

Hi Slice, Installed Leo4All on P4 2.0 sse2, sis chipset 900, agp x1300 pro 256 mb, ven/devid 1002x7142, trying to get agp and accel working. Installed you AGPGart 2.71 and IOPCIFamily kexts from first post, set permissions as instructed, rebooted, now agpgart is loaded but SP still shows display as PCI, no kext loaded, still stuck at 1024x768 60 Hz. Here is ioreg and dmesg: What else you need? Archive.zip
  10. Atheros AR5005(G)

For those of you with Atheros chip 168c,0013: Mine worked great first reboot after following the guide, however, on subsequent reboots, no wireless netrworks were found. After much experimentation, I find that by adding a couple lines to /etc/rc/shutdown/local I was good to go even after restarts and sleep. Here are the lines I added: sudo rm /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kernelcaches/* sudo rm /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache sudo rm /System/Library/Extensions.mkext Hope this helps others with Airport issues after restarts!
