  1. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Well, {censored}. I just booted into a USB made with Rufus and started the process. I formatted the FAT partition I made for Windows, but the installer won't let me install. This is the error: "Windows cannot be installed on this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only installed on GPT disks. Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu." How do I get past this?
  2. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Hi everyone. I'm really grateful for everyone's hard work in getting OS X working on my laptop. It runs absolutely perfectly. However, I would like to dual boot with Windows 7. I'm currently using UEFI/tluck's setup. Is there an easy way to go about this?
  3. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

@tluck this is fantastic. Literally everything works. Thanks so much!!! Okay I may have spoken a bit too soon... My UltraNav mouse buttons are acting weird. A single click actually clicks TWICE instead... and this is happening on both the left and right UltraNav buttons. Is anyone else having this issue? So close to perfection! So I just replaced voodoops2controller with the old version and it works perfectly now. heehee...

@tluck Thanks! I just used KextUtility to update the AppleHDA kext with the one in your pack. Now everything works perfectly, even sleep! AWESOME! Thanks so much.

@tluck Same problem here... this is what I see: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xzb54qqdu3o0rdn/Screenshot%202014-02-28%2012.07.33.png I ran the script in the kext folder too and I'm using the new dsdt and kexts.

Great work tluck. About to upgrade. Would it be OK to only replace CLOVER/kexts with your pack, or were there changes to the DSDT/SSDT, etc.?
  7. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Damn! That's too bad. My USB doesn't seem to do the trick - I get the same glitches if I boot from it. Another small issue that I can't seem to fix: I get this error when I try to sign in to iBooks/App Store https://www.dropbox.com/s/wv6cjvei05krgaa/Screenshot%202014-01-09%2010.08.59.png Any ideas?

Hey guys. So tluck's new pack is working great, but two things still don't work for me: sleep and mute. When I try to put my system to sleep, the screen goes blank and power button light flashes rapidly but the system never sleeps (and therefore is unable to wake). The other thing is mute - whenever I hit the mute button, my system freezes and I have to do a hard reset. Have there been any fixes for these yet?
  9. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

First and foremost happy new year! I hope everyone had a good time. I'm happy to see the progress everyone's made on this so far. I've read through the new posts and it looks like there have been some edits suggested for tluck's dsdt to fix hardware volume buttons. I also generated the ssdt from the script and everything is going well so far. Just a couple questions --- @tluck, does your new pack contain Manwe's dsdt fixes, and do those changes fix the hardware buttons? Also, has anyone been able to fix the logging in to the App Store/iBook Store issues?
  10. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Did anyone get keyboard/trackpad working on sleep wake? Still the biggest issue for me And booting from Clover USB doesn't fix it!
  11. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

@tluck It's an MBR partitioned USB and the Clover partition is FAT32.
  12. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Hey guys. Still having troubles with sleep, shutdown, and changing sound (even booting from a USB Clover). Sleep usually works, but touchpad and pointer stick are dead on wake. Changing sound with hardware buttons will sometimes freeze the system. Shutdown still hangs about 50% of the time. At least no more graphics glitches though!
  13. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Well there's your problem buddy. Set it to UEFI only.
  14. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Odd, that's exactly what I did and I'm on a MBR GPT partition. Was there a specific error?
  15. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

@myran2 If you're installing Clover on your hard drive, you need to check the first option ("Install for UEFI motherboards") which will automatically check a few more options for you. Just leave it at that then install. Then, replace the EFI with tluck's pack. Good luck!
