Not suitable for average users yet. Basically:
OpenCore Bootloader with custom coreboot firmware
SMC Emulated using custom coreboot firmware (no FakeSMC or VirtualSMC)
Lilu + other kexts installed to /L/E (as no injection via OpenCore)
Patches required for AppleALC on Big Sur
Patches required for VoodooI2C on Big Sur

I have just read something that might help developers it is todo with SMC my install stops at that point but here is a little more from somone else to who credit goes to
    https://mjg59.dreamwidth.org/52149.html
Coreboot's SMI handler responding to writes to an arbitrary IO port range. With some more fighting I was able to fake up responses to reads as well. And then I took qemu's SMC emulation driver and merged it into Coreboot's SMM code. Now, accesses to the IO port range that the SMC occupies on real hardware generate SMIs, trap into SMM on the CPU, run the emulation code, handle writes, fake up responses to reads and return control to the OS. From the OS's perspective, this is entirely invisible[5]. We've created hardware where none existed.

I am sorry but your comment does not make much sense
I do not see from the posters comment above how he or she can see if we had been reading round or not? why are there different versions? of NDK? why is it on the same link? I provided a link to source I provided a reference and only , and I mean only once I had read extenisvely did I seek help. On the other hand you made an assumption, to suggest for some reason that you felt we had not read or researched. If I was producing a fork of Open core and someone else was using my fork with the same name, then I would be wishing to try and find out who plagurized my version?
I am a consultant by trade, I always do my research first then if I get stuck or need clarity I ask an expert for advise.
In my trade we see alot of fake copies, and we are keen to stamp it out

thanks for your help and your not being rude, just slight of hand!
    regards

Try to use bootargumen "alcid=layout" then set layoutid at your config.plist to "1" and another layoutid. Remember to use the boot-argument

I am sixty years of age and finding my way around hackintosh so not up to speed with all that there is to know, It upsets me a great deal when asking for help that someone replies to an old person such as myself as if to be abusive towards me. Maybe some know everything there is to know I came here to learn and to share a passion for this hobby please read the postings under sound where I ask for help, remember I am not in any way an expert just, asking for advice and a solution.
What options are open to users of the forum when we feel someone's approach which does not offer a solution only abuse and does not create a positive atmosphere to learn in.
