If your monitor refresh rate is above 60Hz Messages will crash, its a known bug.

I followed fusion71au guide to delete snapshot and it worked just fine, just pay attention to step 5’s (“”) the (“”) are needed. Check your config as I believe you need 77080000 not 7708000. Boot picker I’m at a loss with, internal boot picker or open canopy?

Worked great for me. Got stuck at step 5 I think it was until I entered the “”
Now my DW1820A works and also fixed the lag I had with the menu bar.

fusion71au when I boot into the 3rd stage all I see is a preboot drive not the drive I named. I’m guessing I did something wrong? Do we need the patched installer?

I’m thinking about giving up on Big Sur until I get a new WiFi card. Is the BCM94352Z still the go to card for Big Sur and below?

Both quirks are already set to true.
When i tried -x i also used -v but surely that wouldn't be a problem?
Black screen happens in both Big Sur and Catalina

So what is the go to WiFi chip for laptops for Big Sur and below?
I have m.2 A/E key
Broadcom BCM94360
or
Broadcom BCM94352

Also new kexts just built from master.
Pick what you need.
New Kexts.zip

Unless it's only me, be careful with the new updated kexts. I now cannot boot back into my Catalina install but Big Sur still works.

Success! USB install to internal SSD on my laptop.
config.plist attached.
Installation took a while (i mean a while) and stalled on a few parts but be patient.
So far with limited testing WiFi is the only thing not working (DW1820A) and trackpad is not recognised (But works)
Still need to test CPU PM, battery status, sleep, lid and a few other things.
Great work to the devs of OC.
config.plist
Now when i boot into Catalina though i have this drive mounted?
