I can’t give you a yes or no if OC corrupts uefi or not but I can say with my skylake rig if I boot (accidentally from USB) with wrong acpi config in OC it noops my uefi bios back to defaults and gives me an acpi error.

You should only be using FwRuntimeServices.efi with opencore. Not AptioMemory at all.

I left them empty after inputting MinKernel and MaxKernel on each kext entry and still no boot, same KP.

I just received the card above for my desktop and I must say it’s fantastic, wifi and bt 4.0 on my hack with NO extra kexts (I do have AirportFixUp to fix region but that’s it) needed at all. Plug and play.
Windows drivers available on the Fenvi site for dual booting.
100% Broadcom and 100% working oob.
I’ll post pics of install and details when I can.

Thanks for that. To keep my PC wife friendly I need it to boot straight into windows 10, she doesn’t like the “stupid countdown” even though with clover Windows is set as default. So I’ll keep my EFI’s separate and just deal with the occasional ghost entry.

The bug with IPG 3.6.0 does not belong to Catalina.
It is a bug on any OS with some SKL and is newer, when it is not used HWP.

    upd Fixed in 3.6.1

I had endless reboots on my desktop with beta 9 and IPG 3.6.0.
But beta 10 on my laptop and IPG 3.6.0 went smooth. Might try desktop later after work if I update it today.

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this but i believe its a CLOVER issue or CLOVER config error on my end.
In my laptop i have HD4400 iGPU and according to intel its base frequency should be 200MHz but when running in macOS my iGPU is idling at 550MHZ (0.55).
I am assuming this is not an issue? but surely this will drain my battery faster than it should.
    Any help would be appreciated.

I also have AppleACPIEC loading under EC and AppleBusPowerController under IOResources.
EC is renamed from EC0 in config.plist.
Doesn't seem to be causing me any issues.

One thing I've noticed regarding Kexts
Why the need for an Executable path? Plist Path?
Majority of kexts have Executable as same name as kext.
The path is always the same too, so no need for that.
    Common Path Contents/MacOS/
    Common Plist Contents/Info.plist
e.g Use Common Path and the kext name as the Executable
    Common Plist for the....Plist

    Bundle Path FTS.kext
    Enabled.     Yes
    Comment    Why is it so

so basically reduce code to 2 or 3 lines.

I get an error with that one.
Mount: unknown special file or file system /Volumes/macOS.

    It’s an apfs drive.

I’ve just created an install USB so I’ll just reinstall.

    Thanks for the assist anyway

I tried running uninstalled.dmg but it said command not recognised.
@Matgen84 do you know how to use an uninstaller in single user mode?
I would prefer not to reinstall.

I am using a fake ec device (Z170x) and am having the same issue, no more AppleBusPowerControllerUSB in ioreg on Catalina. I haven’t tested other versions of macOS as I’m only running 10.15.
The EC device is in ioreg it’s just missing its entry for AppleBusPowerControllerUSB.
