  1. That's the key. It just loads drivers. So single or double doesn't make difference
  2. Solved : I don't have ahci option in BIOS. Someone somewhere else suggested to boot with 'raid on' and after putting ahciinjector in clover. My trim status and other details started showing as now sata working with different kexts

    Asus nVidia GeForce 210 1GB DDR3 Working!

Moving to El Capitan with clover was the best thing I ever did. I have this card working with just inject nvidia. Lucky me
  4. As the topic suggests. I am desperately trying to find a solution to getting complete info of my sata drives in system profiler. One is my western digital 320gb sata drive 7200 rpm and another is transcend ssd370 128gb which is my boot drive. but none of them show trim status or media type or brand name etc. i am running 10.11.1 with every thing full working on my dell e520 . the sata ports require extra kext for installation. though post install the ssd works without any extra kext , but regular one doesn't. i checked with system profiler it was using superviaata and ioatablockstorage kexts to the best of my knowledge. Here is what it looks like under SATA - for my SSD above for my HDD below

    HDMI Audio not working

The other day a friend came over showing his macbook air not giving audio with mini display to HDMI cable. Turned out, he just had to change output in sound settings.

    Asus nVidia GeForce 210 1GB DDR3 Working!

Many people claim this card works oob with certain kernel flags. I have never had the luck. Have tried on mavericks and Yosemite both now. Only in lion I am running it that too all manual kext loading plus nvidia web drivers to get qe n ci working.

    Asus nVidia GeForce 210 1GB DDR3 Working!

finally nvidia web drivers for mac os x 10.9.2 have been released http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/73628/ MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS for Driver Release 331.01.01f01 Model identifier should be MacPro3,1 (2008), MacPro4,1 (2009), MacPro5,1 (2010) or later Mac OS X v10.9.2 (13C64) Supported Products GeForce 600 series: GTX 680 for Mac GeForce 200 series: GTX 285 for Mac GeForce 100 series: GT 120 GeForce 8 series: 8800 GT Quadro series: K5000 for Mac, 4000 for Mac Quadro FX series: FX 5600, FX 4800 for Mac - See more at: http://www.nvidia.com/object/macosx-313.01.01f03-driver.html#sthash.5NyGePwC.dpuf i believe this will certainly solve all troubles related to this card as it has done in the past for me. on my hack nothing worked untill i had installed nvidia drivers for lion.
  8. There are no easy ways or short cuts to everything. Like everyone else you want to run the latest osx on the piece of hardware you have. If you despise Apple hardware so much then go buy from Tony's November custo Mac list and build your own gig. It will be most fool proof way.(but don't say it's unfair to not able to install a Ferrari engine in a Merc., what's been designated to work in a machine is solely the maker's choice & right) Apple hasn't released Mavericks as free for everyone. It's an Os upgrade for Apple machines running snow leopard 10.6.8 and above. You can't buy it elsewhere, doesn't mean you can have it for free. Also you should attempt 10.8.5 first since you don't have access to app store. As that might be easily available. Any machine that runs this one well, will upgrade to 10.9 with minimum fuss.

    Asus nVidia GeForce 210 1GB DDR3 Working!

Here is my updated experience. A clean install just didn't work. It would crash even before the kext loading.tried various combos and failed. Finally I used my installer made from app store Mavericks, for an upgrade of my existing lion. With very little tweaks I could do completely. My build has so far everything working, it detects my graphic card too. But display is only 1280x800 instead of original 1620x1050. No qe/ci. Every graphic thing is shaky. Hot corners, launch pad, etc. Kindly suggest what should I do. As no release from nvidia as of now.

    Asus nVidia GeForce 210 1GB DDR3 Working!

Oh okay, will try this tomorrow, just gave a shut down and now off to bed. It's late here already. By the way I have noticed my hack boots slow since day one, around 1:45 mins but shut down is 5-10 seconds max. Should I be concerned?

    Asus nVidia GeForce 210 1GB DDR3 Working!

Finally received dvi hdmi cable from ebay today. My current os x works fine after putting this, so means tested ok. But I tried to boot with my Mavericks Usb and again after a point the monitor sleeps. So I tried to understand your next step mentioned but Did not find any nvd* kexts in my installer drive (no kexts starting with name nvd). What do you mean by Original GM kext???

    Asus nVidia GeForce 210 1GB DDR3 Working!

Thanks a ton for your valuable input. At least I have some future hope without replacing my card. As of now I only have vga and dvi on my Dell 22'' screen. P.S. 1. Do you think if I go for a dvi-hdmi adapter then this will work? Technically it should. 2. With 10.7.5 I had to install original drivers from nvidia website for QE/CI else they didn't work. What about mavericks? Would it work by default or where do I fetch compatible ones? As nvidia hasn't released any after 10.8
  13. Have been successfully using 10.7.5 for a while now. Recently upgraded to Mavericks with no issues except it did not support the Asus en210 at all. The integrated gma x3000 don't provide full resolution or hardware acceleration. Everything else worked.
