segway replied to MarineCorps97's topic in OSx86 10.4 (Tiger)Solution for the booting problem: 1)Copy all the contents of /use/standalone/i386 of the 10.4.3 installation to the same folder of the 10.4.4 instalation. 2) Download the startupfiletool from: http://rapidshare.de/files/13714501/startupfiletool.zip.html 3)Boot to single user mode from 1.4.3 volume (-s at boot ) 4)Mount the volume writable by executing fsck -fy mount -uw / 5)navigate to the folder of startupfiletool and execute: ./startupfiletool /dev/rdisk0s1 /usr/standalone/i386/boot asuming that the rdisk0s1 is the 10.4.4 volume. 6) Do an: bless -mount /Volumes/macosx-10.4.4 -setBoot assuming that the macosx-10.4.4 is your 10.4.4 volume. That's it. Reboot and you have an bootable volume... Segway startupfiletool.zip
