  1. Without rhyme or reason, my issue has been resolved, although I'm not certain on it's sustainability. Update: Now, if my computer is OFF - if I plug in a storage device - it turns on! I've never experienced this in my life as a human being.
  2. Weird error. If I have an external HD, or my iPhone plugged directly into any USB port and boot - it Kernel Panics. Even if I'm running a WebCam network iPhone program, connected to my comp's local IP - Panics. Caveat: If I plug in a USB hub, and then plug a storage unit in it, boots up fine. Also, everything's cool if I just plug it in when it's already booted.
