  1. maybe it's a stupid question, but did you select the right output channel in voodoohda/audio preference panel? i also have that audio chip and i use voodoohda, and works fine for me. i just had to select the right output in preferences...
  2. Hi everyone. I managed to install Yosemite with Clover bootloader and the main things work fine. However, there are a few things to fix... First of all i wanted to patch my AMD5000Controller and AMDRadeonX3000 kexts on-the-fly; i just need to add my vga to the info.plist inside those kexts. so i put this inside config.plist: <dict> <key>Name</key> <string>AMD5000Controller</string> <key>InfoPlistPatch</key> <true/> <key>Find</key> <string>68A11002</string> <key>Replace</key> <string>68BE1002</string> </dict> <dict> <key>Name</key> <string>AMDRadeonX3000</string> <key>InfoPlistPatch</key> <true/> <key>Find</key> <string>68A11002</string> <key>Replace</key> <string>68BE1002</string> </dict> buuuuut, it does not work. i tried both with <data> and <string>, nothing. Also it does not even work if i just put the modified kexts inside 10.10 kexts clover's folder. I need to keep the modded kexts in s/l/e... why? Second, wake doesn't work. Sleep works but when i wake up i only get a black screen. Third, i read that since mavericks the kext AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement (and others) is not needed and loaded anymore, cause is all managed by Xnu CPU Power Management. In my case however the kext is loaded, and sysctl machdep.xcpm.mode gives me 0. This seems not causing any problem, but... I don't know. Maybe something's wrong? To solve these i tried to generate and use dsdt and ssdt but didn't make any difference at all, so i erased them. CPU is working perfectly, i think... I have all the p-states. I also tried patching aicpupm kext to solve the sleep problem but it messed me some things so i put back the original one. Could anyone help me in any way? Thanks
  3. i had a similar problem. i solved changing the fakesmc kexts. it's not so sure that most recent kexts are the best for your computer, sometimes you have to try older versions... if this won't work, try a non official graphic driver
  4. if both works, then why don't you erase one of them? so you can add the extra space to the other partition using gparted
  5. thank you so much. in these days i'm a bit busy, but as soon as i can try it i tell you if it's working : ) EDIT: Derty's method works perfect! and the audio is also better : D
  6. hi all : ) i have voodoohda.kext, and every time i start the pc i have to set up in midi conf. the output to 48.000 hz and 16 bit. why it resets every time? how can i solve this?
  7. are you sure isn't the fakesmc? try the older version maybe.. it worked for me, i had the same problem.
  8. ehm... it's located in /Extra, right? I don't have any smbios.plist file ò__ò EDIT: well, this doesn't matter anymore, i'm buying new mobo and processor (intel) to run mountain lion as it should run. so.. nothing. i hope this post will be useful for other people. if someone have trouble to get work snow leopard on this mobo, write me, i'll help you as much as i can. thank you all for the support you gave me, see you in 10.8 section : P
  9. the extra folder is always needed. copy and paste the kexts you want to backup to an another folder (ex. in desktop) then delete them from extra/extension folder or system/library/extension. after that use kext utility
  10. uppete i still don't get trough the problem.. i also tried to patch the voodoohda.kext but it doesn't do anything
  11. thank you for helping me! but, as a noob, i don't know what to do... maybe edit the dsdt.aml file and insert those lines? well, i don't have created a dsdt.aml file yet, but if i extract mine, when i search "HDEF" inside it, i don't have any result : ( ----> edit: same thing when i search for hdac, azad, azal and azalia or sbx00 where should i insert the lines? i could try the fix in dsdt editor, it seems to be one for my sound card ---> edit: fix doesn't work, i can't apply it edit: i attach my dsdt so, if you could take a look... : ( editeditedit: omg with this voodoohda neither guitar pro works D': i see that in dsdt file i have several pce device, called "Device PCE#", wich # is a nuber or letter... but which of those is my sound card...? dsdt.aml.zip
  12. yeah, i googled around and you're right... for audio, do i have to use both o just one of them?
