  1. At the risk of showing my noobness I am getting a "cannot resolve kernel dependencies for kext" when I attempt to load the 973 kext on startup.
  2. Do I need to have SVN to get the code? Is there another way to access the project?
  3. Jalavoui, what do I need to change to modify this for testing on 10.4.6?
  4. <br /><br /><br />I am downloading Xcode 2.5 now.
  5. <br /><br /><br /> I will attempt to find xcode then.
  6. Sorry, my only machine that I record on is a 10.4 HP nc8430, and I cannot afford to blow it up right now. I will test iF you wish, but I have been watching for months now.....
  7. Where can I access these drivers, I see they are not available from your google code site.

Sure, These are drivers for a broadcom ethernet card. in particular the AppleBCM5751Ethernet.kext. I am literally dragging and dropping this file, and choosing to replace, and authenticating, then going into a terminal and resetting the permissions.

    noob permissions question.

  13. ok, so I've got drivers that I am copying over to the /System/Library/Extensions. After one reboot the driver works fine....after a second reboot, throws a error message that the extension was installed incorrectly......I can repeat this ad infinitum. I am pretty sure that this is related to the permissions set on these files. What am I doing wrong?
  14. never mind....wrong forum.
