1. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Anyone updated to 10.8.2 1.0? Is it safe?
2. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Some kind of temporary solution is to remove Macromedia folder which can be found in /Library/Preferences or in /Users/.../Library/Preferences. As I said, it's temporary because this folder will appear again and you will have to remove it once more. But at least it works.

Anyone tried to get HDMI audio working. I've read that it is possible with VoodooHDA. Any tips for me

And I want to talk about another issue I experienced when I switched from 10.6 to 10.8... Sound disappears with no reason while watching movie in VLC. And when using YT or any other site like that with Flash content. Anyone has the same problem?
4. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Updated, everything works great!
5. Asus 1201N Installation and support

I had been planning to, but I decided to wait for someone to be first. BTW. Is Time Machine working great? I mean, if I break something, can I restore my backup?
6. Asus 1201N Installation and support

I don't think so. It doesn't even support full 4GB - and there's no use to buy more bacause of the processor and all this stuff.
7. Asus 1201N Installation and support

U sure you have only necessary kexts in extra? In my extra i have: AnyCardReader, AppleHDA, AppleRTC, AsusHotkeys, AtherosL1cEthernet, EvOreboot, FakeSMC, IOAudioFamily, IOStorageFamily, NullCPUPowerManagement, SleepEnabler, VoodooBattery, VoodooPS2Controller (while the installation my trackapad wasn't work but now it actually is). I had to install audio kexts via Kext Utility because there was no sound, U didn't copy any kexts to your S/L/E, did you? Try to replace your extra folder again and check if it will help. Because I think that all the problem we had are kext-related.

Dude - don't get me wrong - I love you. Everything works now. Absolutely everything. Messages, iCloud, FaceTime...
9. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Strange thing, with VoodooPS2 keyboard works, but trackpad not. With VoodooPS2 and ApplePS2 it stucks on PCI configuration begin.
10. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Use the kexts attached by mtek, I've added VoodooPS2Controller (because my touchpad and keyboard are not working) and AppleRTC. Not sure if you have to add any kexts for WLAN. mach_kernel_atom from mtek, extra folder from nasseau (but rename mach_kernel to mach_kernel_atom in boot.plist) - replace Extensions and DSDT for the ones you need (for 2GB I used this one from b0ris). Generate Extensions.mkext with Kext Wizard. Install Chameleon r2033. I use AHCI. Before the installation, copy mach_kernel_atom and Extra to your disk just like it's written on the first page. After installation use Kext Wizard, check every option (rebuilding cache and fixing permissions). And Chameleon Wizard of course. I think that's all. Will install ML again and check if my E/E works.

mtek, you said you updated to 10.8.1. Could you please upload somewhere your Extra folder with mkext and S/L/E? I need that because ML was booting only with -f flag, so I decided to remove some kexts that I thought are not necessary and now trackpad, keyboard and mouse are not working, even with -f. So I want to replace this folders with the ones that work properly. When I try to fix something, the things are getting only worse. :f
12. Asus 1201N Installation and support

The reason of my problems with black screen were the files from nasseau. Now everything's OK. ML works on my netbook. EDIT: I lied. Messages, iCloud, FaceTime not working. Extra.zip
13. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Could you tell us please how did you prepare your USB key and which files did you use?
14. Asus 1201N Installation and support

This looks exactly the same as for me. I'm not a hackintosh geek so I don't know which files cause this problem. - not ##### because the installation runs fine; - not kexts in /E/E because without them there is no "a lot of things" on the screen and I used other files and it didn't help; - not kernel because I'd downloaded it from osx86 and I didn't work, too. DSDT/Chameleon then? I have no idea. And to make things even worse, my VM stopped working - just like that after three days. So I must use Leopard which not only is very slow, but also it doesn't work with Chameleon Wizard. I guess someone doesn't like me. OK, end of complaining.
15. Asus 1201N Installation and support

Nothing changed. Will try to install again but don't think it will change anything. Maybe someone can write a tutorial? Even if it's only partially working. I just want to know what am I doing wrong. EDIT: With AHCI netbook reboots in the middle of installation, lol. O,o EDIT2: OK, I'm done. Tried almost eveyrthing, well, actually everything that can be found around the internet. Go back to Lion.
