  1. Hi everyone! So, I've asked this in another topic and they've redirected me to here hoping someone would have the answer. Basically, what I want to know is if an installation of OSX will work on HP Envy 17. Are there some stuff that isn't working or is missing? Is it just something minor or something like Wifi or USB ports not responding? I will leave a link here to my first post regarding this: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286287-hp-envy-17t-3200-install-and-run-os-xmacos/page-16?do=findComment&comment=2415062 Thank you in advance
  2. Hey everyone, I was going to create a new thread but I've found this and maybe someone know the answer to my question What I wanted to know is if my HP Envy 17 will support an installation of OS X. I've tried before with another laptop but it was not very stable and it was almost five years ago, everytime I plugged something in the USB port it crashed and other times it crashed out of nowhere. So before I dwelve into this, I wanted to know if my laptop will work correctly or if some parts of it will not work at all. Not that everything needs to work, I don't need the fingerprint reader, for example, to work, I don't use it at all, but HDMI, USB, Wifi, bluetooth, DVD, trackpad, keyboard, sound and monitor, those need to work correctly. I know it's not as easy as "plug and play", but what I didn't want was to be in the middle of the process and find out something wasn't going to work. In here you can see my HW: http://imgur.com/a/AD4NA I'm not asking for someone to give me everything, I can search for what I need, but if someone already tried or know if it isn't going to work, would appreciate their opinion Thank you

    Toshiba SATELLITE L755-1GH

Hi everyone Sorry if my post it's in the wrong section or that my first post it's to ask for help, but since I've searched the forum and couldn't find what I was looking for, I've decided to ask for it... So here's my problem. I have a Toshiba Satellite L755-1GH and I've installed iATKOS L2 and (almost) everything works fine. There is no sound, the graphic card isn't detected (although I have the right resolution but I guess I will encounter problems in the future, since I have to use all the stuff from Adobe and video apps as well), the wi-fi can detect wireless connections but can't connect to them. These three things I really need to make them work but I can't make them to work. The soundcard I don't know which one it is, but I guess it's a realtek, not sure, but when I installed the ones in the iATKOS L2 installation, it didn't work. The wi-fi it's a Atheros, if not mistaken, since I usually installed the drivers from Atheros in Windows 7. The graphic card it's a nVidia GT525M (as you can see in my signature). I've searched for the drivers in InsanelyMac but I couldn't find them, so if anyone knows where they are, in here or outside, I would be very grateful. Or maybe, if they doesn't exist or something like that, would be grateful to know that Thank you in advance
