  1. My nearly finished Hack the Tosh

Begin February I successfully installed El Capitan 10.11.3 with Clover v2.3k r3346 . Thank U all for the great job : ErmaC, Slice, blackosx and the others. In the meantime I bought a new Mobo Gigabyte Z97-D3H for my next build with Osmozis.

  4. Project AnodizeD: G5 mod

BeautiHive from Laser, as usual. Very inspiring, make me think how to use the Apple logo I cut from a broken door. I love the incrusted Apple inside the panel.
  5. LOL - a min G5 PM? No, just for fun.

I would have dream of such a mod, without thinking it was possible. Great fantastic mod. Standing ovation for you neil43.
  6. Great idea to build an easy way to take-in take-out the system from the case and very well done. Nice pix too, very informative. Congrats.

  8. [SOLD] [Graphite G4/G3 B&W] ATX Front Panel

Very nice and clean job. Sorry that I don't need one of them.
  9. When your job hands you a G5...

Good to see you too. Not really a new one, just changing the internal parts and staying with SL.
  10. When your job hands you a G5...

  11. g5 drive eject button

    Yes indeed.
  12. g5 drive eject button

Nice begin with the Apple cut. I found it : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/253527-zammykoo-g5-case-mod-no-cuts/ from the reply nr 10. Cheers,
  13. g5 drive eject button

Someone made a full detailed report of the procedure on this subforum. I do not remember exactly which topic it is . Try a search. I will try to find it back too and let you know .
  14. G5 Mod, is it worth it?

Where are you ? I still have several G5 front panel with wire, if you are interessed. If you want the original Mac case look, it's worth . Cheers,
  15. Power Mac G5 Power Supply using ATX PSU

I did it. By using the diagrams provided by juragan, I used the ATX, PCI and Proc plugs from PC and soldered the wires with the ones from the G5 PSU. And it works and I got the power on all the mobo plugs .Of course I did not soldered the 25V (white color) used by Apple, neither the grey from the PC Mobo plug . Finally i did solder the grey wire, which is the Power OK.
