  1. After reading about how this Notebook is very popular as it is able to run iAtkos so well... I decided on trying it for myself. I have the HP Probook 4530s i5 model. I was able to install iAtkos ML2 beta 5 without any boot flags successfully from USB, no problems. However I can't seem to boot into the OS. Here's a screenshot after using -v I haven't used tonymacx86's method to install this either, since I don't currently have access to a Mac to set up the USB. So instead I used a different method from here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/288795-guide-creating-os-x-usb-installer-using-a-windows-pc-only/ I'm not sure if that will actually effect the result. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hello, I have successfully installed lion 10.7.2 on my Lenovo G570 and everything seems to be working most of the time. When I boot into Lion, sometimes the USB ports do not respond when I plug in anything, though when I do plug something in like a flash drive, the light on it turns on.. so there is some sort of power coming from them, its just that Lion itself doesn't detect the device. And then sometimes when I boot Lion, the USB ports work perfectly, but more often they don't work at all. It is a very annoying problem as I hate having to reboot my laptop every time the USB ports don't work and hope that they do at the next boot. Does anyone know of a fix to this? Thanks.
  3. ok cool I've just realised another thing and i feel like the biggest noob in the world right now, I actually do not have an atheros AR9285 .. i do in fact though have the incompatible Broadcom 4313 Wireless Card. So yeh... thanks for the help though, I will know exactly what to do when my new Atheros AR9285 arrives from Hong Kong. Man, I feel like the biggest douche right now lol
  4. oh man .. i just realised as i was fiddling with the wifi switch on the laptop that when i turn it off the "Bluetooth" would turn off aswell in the top right corner (the icon lol)... could this mean its detecting my wireless card as a bluetooth adapter for some spastic reason?
  5. I've installed the kext you've said and I still don't have a wireless adapter.. apparently -.- I really want to give you some more info on my situation here but im seriously running out of ideas.. literally every kext I have tried has had no effect at all with my wireless card, maybe some other kext is interfering with the 'IO80211family.kext'???? i dont know im just spit balling but i really want this problem solved lol
  6. Hello, I'm relatively new to the forums here.. well actually I have browsed quite a bit to find some answers to my iAtkos problems hehe. Anyway I have a Lenovo G570 and I have successfully installed iAtkos L2 10.7.2 and have enabled pretty much everything.. even the dam Bluetooth works which I never use -.- but I cannot seem to get my Wireless adapter to work (Atheros AR9285). I've scoured the web over and over and I have installed many kexts using kextutility but after every reboot it just does not seem to detect that wireless card even exists... So I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this issue, since no WiFi on a laptop can be quite irritating. ;-) Thanks.
