  1. So I have the AppleIntelE1000e.kext in my clover/kexts/10.9 folder already, but there is no option for ethernet under networks. Does it need to go in s/l/e too? I also took some time to dual boot windows 8.1 Both Mavericks and 8.1 are running off of the same 240 GB ssd in pure GPT. How do I get rid of all the other boot icons from clover I don't want?
  2. Okay thanks for the clarification, I am now booting with the 780ti enabled using the web drivers, using nvda_drv=1, and it's recognized by the OS! Next I think I'll hit ethernet, ill see how users of the maximus vi formula managed to get ethernet sound and wifi
  3. Quick question, do I need to move a copy of all the kexts i install e.g. nvidia drivers for 780ti to my kexts folder on clover or just in s/l/e or wherever it installs to?
  4. That was just a last ditch attempt to fix the USB Problems, All I'm using is nullcpupowermanagement, famesmc and appleintele1000e

    problems install Mavericks GA-H77-D3H

Try booting with -v in whichever boot loader you are using and post a picture of where it stops
  6. Yeah the gtx is unplugged right now and I'm installing off of IGFX, it just restarted and is looking all good so far. Ill switch over to the gtx post install after installing the drivers nvidia released for mac. thanks for all the help so far! EDIT: How do I get the 780ti, the ethernet, the sound and the wifi working if possible? I'm using no boot flags right now and it starts up in less than 6 seconds
  7. I don't know what I did, but I fixed the original problem, now I get stuck here: EDIT: Played around a little more and got the installer to start
  8. Found this in the log: 24:496 0:013 Custom boot screen not used because entry has unset use graphics 24:509 0:013 Failed to initialize custom boot screen: Aborted! 24:522 0:013 Closing log
  9. I checked just in case by moving the usb to the 2.0 port on the back of my motherboard. It still does not reach the installation screen.
  10. I'm plugged into a front IO USB 2.0 Port connected to the USB 1110 header on my mobo. The installation stops at that point. Currently I have the graphics card unplugged and using hdmi slot on mobo What else could be stopping the installation process at that point?
  11. Thanks for the quick response! Okay here are the kexts I have installed: And this is the latest install message:
  12. I'm trying to install OS X Mavericks to my comp: Asus Maximus VII Formula i7 4790k GTX 780ti using this method: http://cloverboot.weebly.com/before-you-start.html When I try starting the installer I get this error: I'm totally stuck here because there is so much conflicting information all over the place
  13. I just built a PC, and I wanted to dual boot OS X Mavericks (and Yosemite when it's publicly available) and Windows 8.1, I have a 240 GB Intel 730 Series SSD which I want to have 120 GB allocated to each operating system, and I have a 2 TB WD Black HDD which I want 1 TB each to be allocated for file storage. I know that each OS uses a different type of formatting but is it possible to access the data in the 1 TB partitions with both operating systems? My other hardware is a GTX 780Ti, an Asus Maximus VII Formula, and an Intel i7 4790k processor. I'm a little overwhelmed and new to this whole Hackintosh thing, so could someone point me in the right direction?
  14. What install method should I use for the x79-ud7 and hd 7970? And will everything work OOB? I searched and I cannot find anyone who has used the motherboard i am using. I want to be certain it will work before purchase otherwise ill have an empty shell until windows 8 comes out in end october
  15. Ive completely changed my specs. Ive decided on the GA-X79-UD7 HD5770 i73930k Is it confirmed that these are macosx compatible?
