  1. Newmacky: I have the P5K-V mobo and geforce 8600GT graphics card. I need Elastic's ISO to install the retail Leopard. With a geforce 6600GT VGA, I can use the generic ISO to install the retail without any problem. Presumably, the geforce 8xxx graphics card require a different set of kexts.

    I was able to install Retail 10.5 and upgrade to 10.5.4 without any problem. My setup consists of an Asus mobo P5K-V and intel core 2 quad cpu. I just used the generic iso.

    Boot 132 on a usb stick works like a charm on retail 10.5! And updating to 10.5.4 went through smoothly!

    Yes, you have everything except the patched DVD which is around 4.4 GB.

    Agon, the 9 or 13 MB is the patch required, not the disk!

    Agon, you can patch the original disk with Brazil Mac's script. A patched BrazilMac disk is floating around, do a search!
