  2. @chris1111, Now I understand, alright. My application was written in Swift. I could do that, but I don't see much need to stare at a screen full of texts, especially when you can minimize the application and perform other tasks. If there's an error during compilation, a message will be displayed, but if the user wants to look at that text screen, I redirected the output to the log file. As I mentioned earlier, I wrote this application for my personal use and decided to share it here because it could be useful to someone else. This application is solely intended for building OpenCore. I'm not sure if I'll implement improvements in the future; it's uncertain. Either way, I appreciate your suggestion, my friend. The Log file is generated in: /tmp

  4. @STLVNUB, It's done, this function has already been implemented for the next version of OC Build Wizard. It won't be possible, at least for now, in tests carried out there was unexpected behavior of the function and I don't have time to check it.

  5. @Mirone @chris1111 meu caríssimos, testei o OC Build do nosso Amigo Mirone e está rodando maravilhosamente bem, 5 segundos de boot apenas!! Thanks my friends!!! English: Dear friends, I tested OC Build of our Friend Mirone and it is running wonderfully, just 5 seconds of boot time!!

  6. @bluenote56, With the current version you can build OpenCore even with clover installed, I corrected this validation, for this reason you see the message "OpenCore not found".

  8. I like the terminal better the window NSScrollView is to small with my Top and bottom Icon As you you can see there is only one Icon EDIT*** I am an amateur when it comes to Xcode build Applications unlike you are a Pro but I'm doing well when it comes to Packages .PKG

  9. @chris1111, OK, I will accept your suggestion as soon as you accept mine. My suggestion is: instead of displaying the output of your script in the terminal, display it in an NSScrollView, as I did in OC Build Wizard.

  10. @chris1111, Here it is, oops, the screenshot of the version I haven't shared here yet. Wow, but to me, this looks so ugly and cluttered with various texts on a single screen. The thing is, besides having a hobby as a developer, I also have a background as a designer. However, the difference is that I have actually worked as a professional designer.

  14. The high CPU usage issue in Intel Power Gadget is gone in 14.2 beta 4! We can use it again!

  15. Of course it is bad news, I hope that the new Intel PCM has an app or binary to use on macOS. For now I continue with Intel PG, which works perfectly in Ventura and Sonoma, so that iStat Menus reports the CPU's working frequency. Thanks @Menelkir

  16. Bad news: Intel Power Gadget (or better yet the EnergyDriver.kext it installs) causes issues in macOS 14.2 beta 3. The 1st core will always run at 100 % and the system to get really hot. See Screenshot from my Laptop in idle. Good news: The issue has been resolved in macOS 14.2 beta 4!! The successor of Intel Power Gadget is called Intel PCM (Performance Counter Monitor). No precompiled binariest for macOS exist.

  19. Hi, I'm on Clover 5157 too. Could it be possible to post the version which works with Clover too? I tried with the available one but it gives an "opencore not found " warning (of course). It would be great to have an opencore build for my system ( I' ve always used Clover and I'n not much into Opencore) Thanks a lot

  25. @chris1111, In the case of @STLVNUB, it wasn't responding for other reasons, and that has already been fixed. Staring at a terminal screen won't prevent the application from freezing, as I mentioned earlier. OC Build Wizard was built for my own use, meaning to meet my own needs. It is what it is, and people can choose to use it or not. There are numerous other applications with the same function or even better ones; I'm not competing with anyone.

  26. The process build OC is verry long so my suggestion using terminal avoid App not respondig like @STLVNUB said Check in Apple Menue - (Force to Quit) if the app Not reponding when you build with the Original app you have build

Eng-US: Hello @Max.1974, how are you? I hope you're doing well. Now I understand what you meant regarding the application you suggested. I think it would be somewhat complicated due to the complexity of each hardware having its peculiarities. You could have a 10th generation Intel laptop from a manufacturer like Lenovo and another one from Dell, for example. Even though they may use the same processor, chipset, etc., they could have slightly different ACPI or any other differences. This would make developing an Auto-Detect feature for this application very laborious or almost impossible due to the complexity. However, I could be completely wrong, and it might be something easy for someone, and in the future, that someone might develop it. Regarding the OC Build Wizard freezing on a specific screen, could you send me a screenshot? OC Build Wizard generates a log in: /tmp, even though this log may be blank. Anyway, on my machine, it takes about 10 minutes to build both versions.

  35. No. Intel discontinued the app for Windows as well, so it's not a Mac thing! It's because it does not longer work for the way 12th gen and newer CPU cores are designed. It was made for "traditional" multicore CPUs

  42. Yeah it works, it wasn't working before I have been testing this since Mojave's release so I made the installer; but now using the clover/kexts/other works on both Mojave and Catalina. I guess the new revisions of clover made this possible which wasn't working before. You need to disable SIP in recovery mode, boot into macOS and run the installer and once you're done you need to reboot back into recovery and then you need to rebuild caches and prelinkedkernel and then boot back into macOS OR use the steps that @haunteddevil619 suggested.
