    [pre-release] macOS Big Sur

Three LOUD CHEERS for the hard working OC Devs Vit, Mr Fritz and the whole team to get us this far with Big Sur and for the Supervisors and Admins for putting up with all the garbage we littered the site with on the subject, although we have fallouts and heated discussions along the way, I am sure we are all in agreement THAT we do appreciate what you do for the community

    [pre-release] macOS Big Sur

Latest OpenCore commit is able to boot the installer and pre-existing installed macOS 11 Big Sur with kext injection without using prelinkedkernel nvram variables. It is now able to boot both with the new kernel collections method.

Either by removing them from NVRAM > Add > 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 section and then resetting NVRAM from OpenCore boot menu or by removing them from NVRAM > Add > 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 section and adding them to the NVRAM > Delete > 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 section like without resetting NVRAM from OpenCore boot menu like below.

HP ProDesk 400 G4 Mini, MacMini8,1 [OpenCore v 0.5.9 EFI HP ProDesk 400 G4] 07/07/20 updated, here it is 07/07/20 ==>> EFI.zip Just recently purchased this mini pc ( eBay bargain ) as a second machine and was wondering how easily it would be to install macOS Catalina, so I had a look around to see if a EFI existed for the HP ProDesk 400 G4 Mini and I found an excellent guide for the HP EliteDesk 800 G4 that was created by @tonyx86 here at InsanelyMac. By referencing this HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Mini Clover EFI guide I have now created an OpenCore EFI for the HP ProDesk 400 G4 Mini and now attached it to this post. On the surface both machines look very similar, but the HP ProDesk 400 G4 Mini has Intel B360 Chipset and a RTL811HSH-CG Ethernet controller. The HP EliteDesk 800 G4 has a Q370 chipset and uses the Intel 1219LM GbE Ethernet controller and comes with USB type C. I have posted the EFI above, mostly everything is working including iMessages and FaceTime. Please feel free to use this, adapt and share. This most likely will work with the HP EliteDesk 800 G4 too, but will require a custom USBPorts.kext using Hackintool, also RealtekRTL8111.kext would need to be replaced with IntelMausi.kext. Latest refined (and probably the last version) of my OC EFI Folder. It boots really fast and feels really snappy • iGPU working (computational tasks only) • ACPI patches included • USB mapped • OpenCanopy Boot Picker included • Apple ALC included but not tested since I use an external Audio Interface. But it should work Enjoy EFI GA-Z170-Gaming 5 (OC 0.6.0).zip

Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Hi all, I'm back again. I got frustrated with Catalina 10.15.3, was getting kernel panics. I've got rid of windows and back on Mojave. Want to try latest Catalina and see if that sees my ssd as I know 10.15.3 couldn't. Going to try tlucks oc and go from there. Love macOS on my t420. Runs faster than Windows does. Thanks for all your hard work tluck

Big Sur cannot be vanilla installed directly to a hdd/ssd yet (correct me if I’m wrong) still waiting for devs to come up with a work around. To test Big Sur you must use the VM method. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Era già stato notificato Da sottolineare come già stato detto onde evitare false illusioni, che l'installazione non funziona. Funziona solo l'avvio di un sistema preesistente.

Here is the new version of TINU, updated to support better catalina and big sur and also to solve some of the issues you had: https://github.com/ITzTravelInTime/TINU/releases/tag/3.0_BETA_3_(70) EDIT: if it doesn't open the app or the terminal after the password prompt try to moove the app to your desktop first, open it, and it should work
