  2. @arko27Yes!!I'm so excited! All my USB drives are in NTFS format. I try FAT32, which works for me! Thank you so much. @eSaFThank you very much for your patience. The problem that bothered me has been solved. It's that my U disk is in NTFS format. Just replace the FAT32 format. I'm stupid.

  4. Yes stick to 0.5.7 for now but When 0.5.8 gets to a point that I think yeah and replace my main EFI with it I will send you a copy buddy to test out on the pro.

  9. @ghost8282 Known-ish issue: https://github.com/acidanthera/bugtracker/issues/831 Feel free to add if you know something that is not already written down there.

  10. @davidm71 You need to enable ConnectDrivers when using drivers that need connection to devices (e.g. FS drivers - HFSPlus, ApfsDriverLoader). Your Windows BS probably is the work of a borked DSDT or the renames.

  11. There's a new release of Brcm Bluetooth kexts: https://github.com/acidanthera/BrcmPatchRAM/releases I did not experiment with the bpr_handshake boot argument, but I did try using BrcmPatchRAM3 / BrcmFirmwareRepo in /L/E and my BCM 94352HMB firmware does not update. With the updated kexts, I still need BrcmPatchRAM3 / BrcmFirmwareData in E/C/k/O (with Clover Inject Kexts = YES) in order for bluetooth firmware to update properly.

  12. Always, especially with OpenCore as it changes with every revision so much that the config totally changes with it. @pl4n__b can I just bring your attention to this notice I posted shortly after the updates.

  13. Yes and you have to use the new config.plist if your using opencore too as to much has changed between now and previous versions. nothings wrong with the new EFI’s though as hundreds of users are now using it with zero complaints.

  14. Does anyone have a guide/instructions as to what needs to be done in detail to make Windows 10 boot from OC? I get a acpi bios error when trying to boot windows from OC but boots fine for UEFI boot menu but i would prefer to use bootloader (wife friendly) I know i can use a fork of this project to get what i need but i would rather use the origin for better support...

  15. I prefer .VolumeLabel.txt because it stays even when I swap config.plist, try a new Clover etc. In more stable environment, I guess custom entry is fine. But if you can't for this one, try the .VolumeLabel.txt solution ? Just mount preboot and create the file. And .VolumeLabel.txt is good for USB bootable disk !

  16. @Download-Fritz Because i see almost every user make a lot of SSDTs, disabling Addresses, Devices Status, Devices, _DSM, _OSI, while dropping one table with the same, but patches included is time saves and i think this have some effect on performances IMHO! @carlo_67, where i can buy a IM shirt like yours please , i think it's the best shirt i can use

  17. Hi, I'm BJMoose and even though not 'technically' new...I've been away from the hackintosh world for well over a decade. I was fairly active in this forum many years ago which is why you may see so many posts. However, those posts are ancient history now (and so am I) and I a complete newb when it comes to things like opencore and clover. Looking forward to seeing if my old brain can pick up some new tricks. Peace to all!

  19. no - not all gestures will work - this is not a magic pad! these are not implemented in the kext/driver. for 3 finger it takes some time to figure out how to do them on the small pad. generally have fingers pointing to side vs pointing to LCD There are 2 parts to dosdude1 method. 1) build a custom USB installer with his tool. and the just add the Clover EFI to the USB. 2) make sure you either build the installer to automatically install the patches (Default now) or use the USB installer a second time to do the post install patching - which add gfx for HD3000 you really dont need to mess with the alternate DSDT files in APCI for changing the EDID. i forget why i even made them?! just try rename config.EDID-{2e2,2e3,366}.plist to config.plist

  21. This is what fixed it for me In Terminal sudo nvram boot-args="shikigva=80" https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/blob/master/Manual/FAQ.Chart.md The shikigva value depends on what kind of iGPU/dGPU combo .. so I will not bake it in the OC migration kit (unless I change my mind). If you want that to be permanent (survive after NVRAM reset) so for Ozmosis you would put in Defaults.plist <key>Defaults:7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82</key> <dict> <key>boot-args</key> <string>shikigva=80</string> </dict> and for OpenCore

  22. Hey all, Will pick this back up once I have finished the QEMU/KVM PCI pass-through on my Debian MacBook Pro. I got Debian to pick up the integrated Intel and the NVIDIA and I can assign the one to the VM. Also with QEMU I can tell in what CPU features I don't want and test the kernel if it brings those in.
