  1. That comment has been made as a reaction to the question refering to "the OpenCore Discord". There is no such thing, and neither do we want anyone to believe there is, nor do we believe that you claim to be, yet the question may suggest exactly that to unexperienced users. There is no official Discord server for OpenCore or Acidanthera, not in public and not in private. Infact, I do not know most Acidanthera members, "trusted testers" and such myself at all. @Pavo @MacProDude I'd like to ask you to try to interpret statements in "good faith" because nobody is interested in drama around a software project.

  2. Just for things to be clear, this Discord server is not related to anything Acidanthera and is not an official OpenCore resource

  3. Thank you! It's a very nice tool. But...it still can't download an installer of build 19B86a. Only 19B77a. But great tool, nonetheless.

  5. Great! I didn't ask for official sponsoring of the channel or the guide, Users have options, and they are there for people if they want to read or join. As for drama, no one is causing drama.

  7. If you wanna give the new WEG (beta) build a chance to see if it fixes the boot to black screen issue, here's one I just cooked. If you're testing this, you shouldn't need to use agdpmod=pikera as boot flag anymore. Please, don't use it directly on your main system until you test it on a USB drive! I've added a beta build of Lilu, as well, in case you need it. But chances are it might work with the live version of it, as well. I can't test it right now, so if you wanna give it a shot, here it is. Lilu 1.3.9 & WEG 1.3.4.zip

  8. Just to be clear, where it might not be the "Official OpenCore" Discord server for "Acidanthera" group, it is where most normal users can come and ask for questions and get help with the basic understanding of using OpenCore. Where as the official Discord server for OpenCore for the "Acidanthera" team I am sure is private to a very few developers and very few "trusted" testers.

  14. I have put together this simple little guide for anybody wanting to use a Patched DSDT EFI with the same configuration as me. This is also a thread to discuss everything Z390 Pro and try and help where we can and maybe make things a little better for you. A huge massive thank you to @glasgood @MaLd0n @larabee These three guys have helped me and talked me so much and are as helpful as you could ever get, Without them I wouldn't have a perfect working build like I do or be putting up this Guide & Discussion Thread sharing the hard work and countless hours that we have all put in to this. This EFI and Patched DSDT have been created to work with a Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro, 9900k with a Vega 56 but has also been tested and verified fully working with the following Hardware using Big Sur 11.0.1 CPU's 8600K, 8700, 8700K, 9400K, 9600K, 9700K, 9900K, 9900KS (All KF Models work but use SMBios iMacPro1,1 instead) GPU's RX 560, 570, 580, 590, Vega 56, Vega 64, Radion VII, RX 5500, 5500 XT, 5600, 5600 XT, 5700, 5700 XT (If you have success with any different CPU or GPU's then please do let me know) @glasgood Has kindly put together a new simple Catalina install guide so Just Follow He's Guide For a Perfect Install. 15. I did it again! With the release of the Navi drivers for macOS by Apple I bought a card and ported my popular PowerPlay Table generators to the RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT. Some might know I already did the same for V56/64 and Radeon VII. This tool allows you to change GPU, SoC and Memory Clocks, voltages for GPU and SoC (for undervolting or overvolting), adjust Power and TDC limits and customizing fan control. The whole thing is based in a simple Excel spreadsheet and provides you with a long Hex string you can then inject to your graphics card via Clover device properties. If you want to use it on a real Mac (eGPU or Mac Pro) you can use a Dummy Kext to inject the PowerPlay Table. Please make sure that you only run this spreadsheet in Excel! iWork, OpenOffice and Libre Office are known to do wrong calculations. 20. If you try agdpmod=pikera, don't use -wegoff. I've same graphic card, latest WEG works fine, no black screen. Have you got Black screen disabling WEG with Clover GUI. EDIT: post also your issue in WEG Topic.
