  2. Hi, first of all, I'd like to extend my hearty thanks to the team's hard work. The reason why I don't post this topic in OpenCore Discussion room because I don't have access to reply in that room. I successfully boot into macOS, but when I choose BOOTCAMP Windows, the boot loader returns a critical error. `IgnoreForWindows` option do not work for me. Also, when I first come in OpenCore boot page, it shows `OCS: Failed to parse real field of type 1`, and quickly disappears. Here's my config.plist, and hope for suggestions. P.S. My device is running in UEFI mode. config.plist

  6. Assuming you read the supported versions in the github page for FX first, High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G65 , 17G66, 17G6029 , 17G6030) Also it's XLNC who ported AlGreys patches for FX. Algrey only focuses on Zen.

  9. Ok.... If I go off the list in your table then my cpu-type should be 0x0A01 since my CPU falls in the AppleProcessorTypeXeonE5 platform. If I set my cpu-type to 2561 which is the decimal conversion of 0x0A01 in OC config, System Profiler shows Unknown as CPU name. If I use OC auto detection it detects my cpu-type as AppleProcessorTypeXeon and again System Profiler says Unknown as CPU name. But if I use 2570 decimal conversion of 0x0A0A which is XeonE5Type2 platform which your list doesn't have System Profiler shows 10-Core Intel Xeon E5 as CPU name which is correct.

  10. I hope we have one here: https://github.com/acidanthera/EfiPkg/blob/26f7eac4305e9b3b5c4b32cb3740640c515f750f/Include/IndustryStandard/AppleSmBios.h#L142 Well, conversion to markdown is welcome =)

  11. You should see both CPU and iGPU and dedicated GPU working. I can see the UHD turbo boost up to 1Ghz sometimes while rendering using FCPX. When using Adobe products, things are a bit different Depending on what format you are using. I'm using a lot of H264 encoding videos, so I'd love to have hardware acceleration for those encoding task. This is the snapshot of my Adobe Media Encoder while it's running: You can see the Hardware Encoding for H264 is running.

  12. Well, if you provide CPUID dumps, SMBIOS dumps with automatic detection, and OpenCore logs in acidanthera bugtracker, we may be able to improve the situation.

  13. Great Tool! Just found a bug. On USB "tab" (only checked there) on initial open and no window resize the buttons on the bottom take focus and click as expected. If I then resize the window, then click on any button the "clear all" button is highlighted and process. So resize window click refresh highlights clear all and performs that action. Thanks again for all the work on this. Kevi

  14. I wished it was that but on my board the device address is PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1b,0x0) Figured it out, had to move Lilu in kernel section to the first one to load, audio works now.

  15. you need to add a device PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1f,0x3)

  19. I feel like I'm talking to a wall sometimes guys. I never get answers to questions I ask and I am ignored when I point out when there are issues. It took me literally taunting DF for him to get something I was talking about for like five years, and no one would discuss with me, which was protecting all runtime and reserved regions (and actually the latter still does not happen so firmwares that use reserved regions for integrated graphics like mine cannot use integrated graphics without weird side effects, random artifacts, and crashes). Then you said that aptiofix was stagnating because it was inside clover and no one could contribute. Like seriously? I asked people all the time to discuss stuff and openly invite people to contribute all the time. I feel like because I am brash, you think I'm trying to insult you. I am not, I just want the knowledge and the best possible solutions.
