  7. Now booting with the new boot loader OpenCore (OC). Everything is working as a treat with minor adjustments for CPU like SSDT--CpuPm and freqVectorsEdit (FV). Thank's to @vit9696 with the team behind OC, @apianti and @PMheart for patching my CPUID.

  10. Many changes in latest update. Most important: CCE has tri-state checkboxes now (added to OP), so that it can distinguish from false and unset values. (This should have been a feature from the beginning, sorry) and many fixes.

  16. So just so I understand: You have updated your Mobo firmware to f8? You successfully installed Clover UEFI with this board? That's great news if so - gives me hope I can get there. I'll give it another go tomorrow. Thanks for the quick reply

  19. Take a look at sample ssdt in /doc/AcpiSamples directory, compil SSDT-PLUG.dsl and add it to injection and drop what you want. You can try first without dropping all SSDT this example is just to show you howto use those options. Fred

  21. I feel like I'm talking to a wall sometimes guys. I never get answers to questions I ask and I am ignored when I point out when there are issues. It took me literally taunting DF for him to get something I was talking about for like five years, and no one would discuss with me, which was protecting all runtime and reserved regions (and actually the latter still does not happen so firmwares that use reserved regions for integrated graphics like mine cannot use integrated graphics without weird side effects, random artifacts, and crashes). Then you said that aptiofix was stagnating because it was inside clover and no one could contribute. Like seriously? I asked people all the time to discuss stuff and openly invite people to contribute all the time. I feel like because I am brash, you think I'm trying to insult you. I am not, I just want the knowledge and the best possible solutions.

  22. apianti, I suspect that very careful reading of the pdf is needed to understand what it means. In short, the addition of any property that is not described in the configuration as well as the removal of any property that is not explicitly marked as optional yields undefined behaviour. I.e. OpenCore is permitted to induce permanent damage to your hardware as an example (even though we will never do it intentionally).

  24. Hi Hifi33 As far as I am aware, new iMac 19,1 SMBIOS requires a special build of macOS Mojave, hence the unsupported macOS error when using SMBIOS 19,1. In meantime, change "Unknown CPU in About My Mac " see my previous guide link below: Update SMBIOS support for 19,1 in Mojave 10.14.5 beta.
