  2. Take a look at sample ssdt in /doc/AcpiSamples directory, compil SSDT-PLUG.dsl and add it to injection and drop what you want. You can try first without dropping all SSDT this example is just to show you howto use those options. Fred

  4. Give this folder a try, you need to make sure that the iGPU is enabled and active in BIOS as secondary and use your RX 580 as primary. macOS Mojave 10.14.4 EFI for GA-Z170X-Gaming 5.zip

  5. AMD OS X is proud to announce that native macOS is available on Ryzen CPUs thanks to AlGrey. No need to use a patched kernel/prelinkedkernel. This is currently being classed as beta support and other CPUs are being worked on. https://github.com/AMD-OSX/AMD_Vanilla

  14. Well for formatting the USB disk you can follow these instructions: (if you haven't found it already) 1. Open Disk Utility 2. Click on the small icons on the left like in the picture: 3. Select Show All Devices 4. Select the name of the USB disk vendor (In my case it's a SanDisk Ultra....) 5. Then you can use the Erase Button to erase the disk and change the Partition Scheme like in the picture below: Once that's done you are ready to use the Creatinstallmedia command. As far as I know the Createinstallmedia command doesn't change the partition scheme so if you partition it in MBR it won't be changed to GPT to GUID, the command will erase the existing partition and then copy the installer files into it.

  24. I don’t think I am the one lacking intelligence between the two of us as you seem to have completely missed the substantive aspects of my query, and then went on to require the reinterartion of previously plainly disclosed information. You then end by stating the exact opposite of a proper answer to the question. I apologize if you’re actually slow mentally but I found your response entirely unhelpful. I ask that you, in future, please refrain from answering if you have nothing substantive to add. And clearly, you haven’t. But to answer you directly: yes. I started hackintoshing PCs with Mavericks. Finally, as you missed my point entirely, I’m not asking how to find the list of patches for a given machine online, I’m asking how a person, working with equipment that has never had macOS installed, figures out what DSDT and SSDT patches to use to make a system more functional or stable. I do not know how to further simplify my query for your seemingly limited understanding.

  25. Intel chipsets shopuld not matter as VMware has a "virtual chassis" that it emulates, unklike the CPU which iit virtualises. Just make sure you get a CPU with VMX Unrestricted Guest mode, as that is a new dependency for VMware products. Of course needs, VT-x and EPT as well.

  26. I don't need them personally, nor even gonna buy one; except as a free gift hah haa.. I'll give them Applause if there's announcement; "Ladies & Gentlemen; Apple are welcoming Nvidia back. We're still a romantic couple for years. Let's move on!" (trust me, I was drunk).
