  1. iGPU has been added to AGPMInjector for version 2.0. This will add iGPU AGPM properties based off what CPU type your SMBIOS selection is. If you have CSM disabled and iGPU disabled in BIOS you do not ever need to check Yes for iGPU enabled. AGPMInjector_2.0.zip

  10. Those who use Mojave with an OpenGL (non-Metal) Video Card in "dark mode" have noticed that global transparencies are working fine, while in "light mode" encountered the "grey" Finder menu bar and sidebars issues, this patch is intended for those who want to use Mojave mainly in "light mode" saving some transparencies around, so here is my "hybrid reduce transparency" patch. It is totally safe, harmless and reversible, it has been deeply tested and will 100% work until restart or logout, even after sleep lock screen it will still work. To return with normal "transparency" you can also do that from Accessibility prefpane disabling the "reduce transparency" checkbox. To use this patch just double click on this attached shell "mojavehld.command" and it will launch through Terminal. [METHOD 1: Enable hybrid transparency] After launch the mojavehld.command just follow these steps: type 1 type 4 close Terminal (CMD+Q) and any other app previously opened. (The choice number 3 is not mandatory) [METHOD 2: Force hybrid transparency] If for some reason after that you will still get Dock and Notification Center without "transparencies" then relaunch the mojavehld.command: type 2 type 1 type 4 close Terminal (CMD+Q) and any other app previously opened. This application fixes Adobe CC crashes on AMD systems. Not all CC applications are supported as there aren't fixes for all them. The main aim of this was to fix Photoshop. If you have a fix for a CC application that isn't supported by this then send me a PM and I'll include it. This will fix the crash on startup and the Photoshop CC 2019 font crash. Just run and enter password. Enjoy

  17. I am no expert at this caper -- far from it -- but I am tenacious... and after about four days of effort, I have finally successfully set up Mojave current production (10.14.2) on my old Dell 780. I'm very pleased to report that * audio is working - with custom boot flags and rolled back HDA kext, cachce refreshes (kextutil) and reboots, so many reboots * video is working - not 100% what the real difference was between my previously functional High Sierra setup and this one but as with HS, I ran through the install process until I could go no further, did the kext rollbacks but still I couldn't get the right resolution. In the end, I kept trying different intaller processes and used Chris1111's installer which had the InjectATI flag set (for HS I had to *unset* this). Anyway, it now looks good. * wifi is working - I had to add the injectatheros kext into the clover setup after running the installer AirPortAtheros40 installer 1.0.1.zip (see Downloads), refresh (kextutil), reboot * usb limit - I came across what appears to be a failry common problem where not all of the USB sockets are functional. I had to apply custom patches for correct OSX version in config.plist AND make sure usbinjectall kext was in the Clover folders Forgive my lack of detail (correct file names?) but essentially, I am posting this here so that if anyone else is trying to setup a 780 with the same or similar components, I am very happy to share my configuration files that are working. For those who know more than me, I'd like to explore a couple of extras at some stage 1) is there any way I can explicitly specify the screen resolution or is it only ever going to use the default for the connected display? I've tried changing the resolution in the config.plst of clover but nothing changes. I'm considering changing monitors or even connecting a soon-to-be-replaced TV screen 2) I haven't managed to get my Ethernet connection working. It's not essential but I'd like to have the option if I need it. I'm using the standard on board adapter for the 780 SFF. Currently I get a message about the Ethernet cable being connected and an IP address had been obtained but no internet connection. AppleIntelE100e v3.3.6 is loaded. Is that all I need? Does this suggest something to do external from the Hackintosh? (cable/modem config/??)? 3) My CPU - the Core2 Q9400 is apparently overclockable. Has anyone worked out if it's possible? worth it?

  19. @blackosx A bit late but, thank you for fixing the issue. I had alignment issues before committing those changes, there were random hardcoded numbers, like that 8, which you mentioned in one of your previous posts. Even though all that fixed the alignment issues for themes that use default sizes, it broke themes that are using custom sizes for icons, my bad I didn't check. Anyway, it's fixed now. My apologies to everyone for breaking the custom themes, they differ in behaviour from default, which I didn't take into account.

  21. Hi, first time hackintosh here, I have been trying to tackle this problem since a week or so now. So far I have patched DSDT and SSDT and get the Display recognized as internal, no brightness slider still. The display shows up as AppleBacklightDisplay in IOREG but that's about all I have been able to achieve. I tried mainly two approaches, the one that @jacie950 was given by @onejay09, and the other by @mail_hxm (which resulted in black screen post boot with a cursor). I have attached the IOREG, zip of Clover, and the resulting zip of problem reporting script. Please let me know if anything else is needed My device is an Omen ce0xx: CPU- 7700HQ GPU- GTX 1060 Max-Q (G-Sync so no iGPU) RAM- 16GB Storage- 128GB m.2 NVMe + 1TB HDD debug_8415.zip ioreg.ioreg CLOVER.zip

  23. It's a pity Goldfish64 changed definition for "device" variables without back compatibility. See how apple does: efi-boot-device <array><dict><key>IOMatch</key><dict><key>IOProviderClass</key><string>IOMedia</string><key>IOPropertyMatch</key><dict><key>UUID</key><string>33D4733F-CBAF-4B8E-A33E-6EB6244C5BF2</string></dict></dict></dict></array> efi-boot-device-data %02%01%0c%00%d0A%03%0a%00%00%00%00%01%01%06%00%02%1f%03%12%0a%00%00%00%ff%ff%00%00%04%01*%00%07%00%00%00%c0Y%c3%1e%00%00%00%00%a81l%06%00%00%00%00?s%d43%af%cb%8eK%a3>n%b6$L[%f2%02%02%7f%ff%04%00 Same but different representation. I will propose to create own audio configurator as Clover already knows all audio devices. Just give user a choice for output number and volume. Also I can think about digital sound and about Speaker/Headphone autoswitch absent in original driver by Goldfish64. Just take a time.
