Sorry about that. I don't build the shell so it slipped by. There's a divergence in prototype of ShellOpenFileByDevicePath between UDK2018 and EDK2. Update to Clover r4680 and reapply Patches_For_EDK2.

I don't know what do this patch. I'm pragmatic, did not do things that I don't understand , I just adapt my system to my needs and hardware. Just to be clear: if my mouse and keyboard are connected to an USB3 port (blue color), do I need USB3 the answer is no. so disable USB3 of this 2 shared ports. and just keep USB2. If my Bluetooth is connected to one internal port with no wire on connector for second port, do I need second port ? no... and so on... will I have 5 usb stick or HD external connected at same time, no .... All we need to make our USB working can be done in dsdt or ssdt with Mojave. Not the case for other MacOs version) After this reflexion you will understand that this patch is not really needed in many case. I mean that there is another way to make your system work even if all ports are not enable. Just use what you need no more ... But sure will continue to search find a way to enable all ports, but just for fun Fred

Running Mojave on my real MacBook Pro and on my Hackintosh. On the MBP jpgs preview correctly, on my hack they cause a forever spinning wheel. Suggestions?

Sorry someone report: I've tell you twice 160px was too big for 1920*1080 24" monitor, in my modest opinion. Maybe 160px is suitable for 1920*1080 with larger monitor size (28 ", 32", etc). I congratulate you for the super theme that you realize. They are great.

Ok, got it. I'll probably do it when I have free time, will be uploaded here instead of Clover repo. Previously no one reported that 160px was too big, in my humble opinion.. 128px is small, while 256px is too big. Then I choose a size between them. So, all of my non-256 themes on repo use this one for os_icons. Thanks anyway.

Why do I show such large clover icons?

Greetings, I downloaded the latest version of "https://github.com/acidanthera/EfiPkg" as the clover does not compile.

Try different Clover setting and remove some kexts and dsdt, ssdt. It's not the installer issue, it's Clover and kexts issue.

Many things are solved with Lilu Whatevergreen and AppleALC. Things like rename device, injecting good property, device id, etc. For newbies best way is to use Vit9696 (+team) kexts and all will be fine and working nearly OOB. Fred

Guys i am testing a closed pre-release version of this tool which includes all the basic features i have already shown to you and also things like fully supported mojave dark mode and menu bar support inside a single app with dinamyc switching. i will use the feedback from the closed beta testers to prepare the app for a public pre-release and then the first official release. Then i have also features planned to add to the app in future releases: -An eject button for each drive, so to safely eject all the volumes of the drive -A free space indicator for each volume -multi language support -quick setting to activate viewving the efi partition and removable drives on the desktop -other kind of info about drives and volumes -sligth redesign of the UI to let all the new features to fit inside of it If you hase gussting for anything, icluding design and other features, let me know, i am always open for that. I'm glad that your problem is solved. With respect to the Electrical properties, use SSDT to enable EC Device ?. I think that starting from Sierra, the Electrical properties for the USB ports changed.

all hacks are different. in my case the efi driver triggers my secureboot which does not let me boot at all until i go into bios and set secure boot off every time i cold boot somehow it enables it on it's own. but thats just my hacks case. on other machines sometimes it slows down boot times as it initializes in efi.

After installing the editor and GTK# in Windows, you should be able to adjust the settings. I find increasing HBM2 memory clock much more effective than the core clock. After I settled with 1100MHz for memory clock, I undervolted both core and memory a bit to make it cooler. You can start increasing clock by 25MHz and decreasing the voltage by 25mV for each step. Run some benchmark to make sure you didn't get throttled due to heat and your soft power table is stable enough. Also, adjust the temperature target at which fan runs at its full speed. And don't forget the power limit.....I set to a crazy 450W though I think I will never reach it. Here is the most tricky part: converting Windows registry file to hex dump. It would be very easy for a programmer who knows regex..... Damn, I expected Mojave to improve things for me. Instead, they got worse. 1st: Getting random freezes when using the PowerPlayTable on Mojave. Without it (stock driver config) no Freezes occur but fan is at full speed all the time as on High-Sierra. 2nd: Performance went down significantly. For example in Mission Control there is some stutter every now and then and when running this WebGL test I get a stutter (18 - 23fps) from 5000 fishes. On High-Sierra my Hackintosh was running the 30.000 fishes smooth. My MacBook Pro 2014 with Iris Pro graphics runs 5000 fishes smooth. Also can confirm the performance degradation with some benchmarks: - Cinebench down to 124fps (High Sierra: 170fps) - Geekbench OpenCL down to 164,000 (High Sierra: 193,000) Already did a clean install of Mojave two times, doesn't change anything. I don't get what's causing those issues for me...
