Please read me: Ever since macOS Mojave came out (I mean the first DP) Apple removed the support for Atheros based WiFi Adapters from the IO80211Family.kext, so to fix it we need to add the AirPortAtheros40.kext to the Extensions manually. After each clean install the AirPortAtheros40.kext needs to be installed and after clean installing Mojave DPs after few times I decides to create this app to save some time. How to use it: This application will install the missing AirPortAtheros40.kext into /System/Library/Extensions and after the installation is done and once you reboot your computer the Atheros based WiFi adapters will be enabled. The installation is the first step of the process and it is fast but the next steps which are repairing the permission on /System/Library/Extensions and rebuilding the system caches might take a while so please wait until you were asked to reboot your computer. I'm using a TP-Link WDN4800 with an Atheros chipset and it works on other similar hardware. If this app helped you please consider donating; any amount is appreciated.

  10. my tinu app just supports mojave out of the box for usb installers, for those wh doesn't know it's basically an user inteface for the "createinstallmedia" method with automated usb driver format and error cheching and also it seems like that mojave has a better software rendring when you don't have graphics acceleration, good for usesers with problems getting graphics to work or for vm users

  11. Introduction The H370 chipset powers 8th generation Intel Core-i CPUs. Even though the name H370 rings comparable to Z370, the H370 is based on newer silicon. This it also requires some new approaches compared to the Z370. An example would be on-die USB 3.1 and WiFi support. Since this guide is not a "hold-your-hand-every-step" guide, I assume you know: Clover installation and configuration How to create an install medium for MacOS Access and configure the BIOS Have heard of ACPI patching (I'm a newb at this myself) What works Sleep (via DSDT edits and emulated NVRAM) On-board Audio (via AppleALC and native AppleHDA) Native power management (without any kext or patch) All USB ports (and only those present are active) iGPU for both acceleration and display dGPU (I'm running an Nvidia GTX 1080) Untested NIC --> I'm using WiFi only What doesn't work Native NVRAM via AptioMemoryFix.efi DMVT Pre-alloc higher than 64MB (but not necessary) Community additions User @Panzerschiffe added a helpful post, altering this guide for user with AMD cards and not needing on-board sound. He also runs Mojave, which I don't run yet. Changes to the guide: 22.5.18: Added SSDT hot-patching to enable sleep, replacing DSDT static patching as an alternative. 23.5.18: Add iMac18,1 as alternative SMBIOS config for those relying on the iGPU for output 25.6.18: Added update info 28.8.18: Small changes for clarity, changed info for afps loading & updated USB patch for 13.6 04.10.18: Update to Mojave will come once Mojave is more mature 02.12.18: Removed unnecessary patches, fakepciid and audio patch method & linked to AMD post & added whatevergreen.kext as replacement for previous GPU kexts 02.03.19: Removed unnecessary fakeid and ig_platform_id injections, ACPI patches - this is all handled by whatevergreen & lilu. In testing is a Framebuffer patch, see this post. 04.03.19: Added Germany keyboard layout and updated pre-patched DSDT.aml removed DSDT patching 1. Installation This guide heavy inspired by the work of /u/corpnewt of /r/hackintosh and his (sorta) Vanilla guide 1.1 Create the install media for MacOS Follow this, if you are using a Mac to start off with. If you are totally new to MacOS, then please check the basic guide Creation of an installer media in windows or linux 1.2 Install Clover on the install media Using the Clover installer, ensure you are installing to the USB medium you are using for the installer. Chose the following options, leaving the others on default: UEFI driver: AptioMemoryFix UEFI driver: ApfsDriverLoader UEFI booting only Install to ESP You have to get your hands on an apfs.efi. A google search can help, or extracting it from the Installer package. Make sure you procure a version matching the MacOS version you are about to install. Place the apfs.efi in drivers64UEFI. 1.2 Adjust the config.plist for the installer You can use the config.plist attached as a guideline, but take a look at it before and at least adjust the SMBIOS - otherwise it won't boot. Attention: The attached plist contains audio patches introduced by a post-install step. If you run into problems, you might remove those. It also contains a manual slide value, which should normally not be needed, but works fine for me. It is also tuned for usage with an Nvidia Pascal dGPU as main GPU. The config you create now should serve you nicely for install and running the system. Take care of adding the following basics: SMBIOS: iMac18,3 - You can generate a serial number via Clover Configurator. The creation of a proper SMBIOS is covered in many guides to good extend Note: If you aim at using the iGPU for output, a user reported that iMac18,1 works better - since iMac18,3 produces severe flicker. I'm now also testing 18,1 Look at the graphics section and adjust the injection for Intel to your situation Fixes Patches Devices Graphics Important: Change 0x59120003 to 0x59120000 if you don't use a dGPU as your main display Driver and instead use the iGPU for output. Also note. SMBIOS iMac18,1 has been reported to work better in this configuration. But 18,3 works fine for me. Kernel and Kext patches 1.3 kexts and friends Add the supplied SSDT-UAIC.aml to "patched" - it limits the injected USB Ports to the actual number and ports valid for this board. Required kexts on "Other": FakeSMC.kext Whatevergreen.kext Lilu.kext AppleALC.kext IntelMausiEthernet.kext in case you're running Ethernet USBInjectAll.kext with the HCI-300-series-injector.kext --> These two should be installed to /L/E after install We are leaving sound out at the moment, this is something for post-install. 1.4 Check BIOS and install You should be ready for install. But before you reboot, please take a look at your BIOS and set it up accordingly (copied from the aforementioned guide and adapted): Load Optimized Defaults Disable VT-d setting If your system has Secure Boot Mode, disable it Enable CSM - This is sometimes needed to dual screens to work Set OS Type to Windows 8/10 or OtherOS - I have not seen a difference Turn off internal Serial and Parallel port Turn off Network stack for boot Turn off wake-on-lan (for now) Set XHCI Handoff to enabled Don't enable decode over 4G Depending on your GPU, set priority for boot Set internal GPU (iGPU) to enable - not auto or disabled Set DMVT pre-alloc min to 64MB and max to 128MB. For this selection to appear you might need to reboot after setting iGPU to enable Set USB legacy to enabled Activate XMP profile 1 f your Ram has it (mine doesn't and I added the timings manually) Set ERP to enable, disable platform power management (I need to do more research if this could be enabled) I've attached my current BIOS config "hack2". You can place that on a fat32 drive (the EFI partition of your install USB drive might be an idea) and see if it loads. It's made for and with the F2 BIOS. The install itself should be like other MacOS Hackintosh installs with it several reboots and ensuring to select the correct boot device in Clover. 2. Post-install 2.1 Install clover on target This is a no-brainer, but install a fresh copy of Clover on your target medium. During install select again AptioMemoryFix but also additionally EmuVariableUefi-64.efi Install RC scripts on target volume because otherwise NVRAM doesn't seem to work After the install, copy config.plist contents of "Other" content of "patched" to your new clover install. 2.2 Edit ACPI for slumber Choose one option, not both. The hot-patch is experimental, but for the moment it is stable. 2.2.1 Edit DSDT No more need for manual DSDT patching. If you still do it, you might run into unstable sleep. SSDT hot-patching + sane clover.config edits are enough This is necessary only once on initial install and every time, you edit or upgrade the BIOS. The DSDT.aml attached to this post might work for your system or give you a file to compare to. Don't expect it to work for you, though. EDIT: Since moving from F2 BIOS to F12 I did not repatch and sleep is still somewhat reliable. But to be 100% sure, you can still follow these steps. I won't go into the details of DSDT extraction and patching. There are better guides (the linked guide is a rip-off of rehabman's guide from a different forum). Please follow such a guide to extract your ACPI data. Locate and disassemble the DSDT with the newest iasl binary you can put your hands on, then open it with MacIASL in its newest version you can find (Hint: Here is a good source) You can check if the version is new enough if MacIASL doesn't throw error upon compiling a freshly extracted DSDT.aml or DSDT.dst Add rehabmans repo (as per linked guide) and apply the following patches: Rename _DSM to _XDSM Fix _WAK Arg0 v2 USB3 _PRW 0x6D Skylake (instant wake) Find the CNVW device and remove the _PWR function there. Compile the DSDT and place it in "patched". 2.2.2 Use SSDT hot-patching Instead of having to re-extract and re-patch the DSDT on every BIOS change or update, Hardware change one can also use ACPI hot-patching. It's a combination of config.plist patches and an SSDT, which is hot-patched into the ACPI (if I understand the process correctly) You need to add this SSDT-GPRW.aml to your Clover folder in the designated position at Clover/ACPI/patched You need to add this patch to your config.plist. It goes into the DSDT patch section Note: This works for me, but the patch removes the _PRW method from all devices in the DSDT. This could have side-effects. So far, I have seen none. At the moment I'm also not applying any other patch, compared with the additional edits I made to the DSDT method before. 2.3 Install kexts to system As mentioned in the install section, it's better to follow rehabman's instruction and install USBinjectAll.kext to /L/E: sudo cp -R Release/USBInjectAll.kext /Library/Extensions sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u / 2.4 Enable onboard Audio - Install AppleALC kext Make sure your EFI partition is mounted and that you have a vanilla AppleHDA kext available. See below for a guide how to get a vanilla AppleHDA if needed Note: Our Audio codec is ALC887 and it's running with layout ID 1. Download the newest AppleALC kext from here and install it together with lilu.kext from here into your usual /clover/kexts/others location. Done. No scripts or config.plist patches necessary. Add layout ID 1 to config.plist, if it's not there yet: <key>Audio</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>ResetHDA</key> <true/> </dict> If you previously installed any audio patches, please follow this guide to "vanilla-ize" your install. 2.5 Optional steps for Graphics If you have a dGPU, now it's the time to install its drivers and adjust the config.plist for it. The detaisl are specific to your GPU and thus of scope of this guide. Yet, my supplied config.plist is ready to be used with Nvidia Pascal cards and using the Nvidia web driver. Whatevergreen.kext helps with Intel iGPU and NVIDIA dGPU fixes. At the moment I'm also testing out a special bootflag: 'shikigva=12' to enable faster rendering in Final Cut Pro X. Without whatevergreen.kext and a shikigva bootflag, rendering in final cut seem very slow. 2.5.1 Framebuffers If you're facing problems with output from your internal GPU, you can try the framebuffer patches listed by @BackwardMac: 2.6 Install a proper keyboard layout You might not be using a fancy Apple branded keyboard. If you use a PC keyboard, you might be annoyed by the differing layout and usage of keys. As a German, you might find yourself quitting applications, since alt gr + Q won't add an @, but quit your current application. To fix this, you can simply install a different keyboard layout. Copy it to /Library/Keyboard Layouts/ and chose the layout in System Preferences, Keyboard in the section "Other". Deleting the previously selecting layout makes sure that only this one is used. Nice little trick. A keyboard layout for German keyboards is attached and works wonders 3. Updating Updating inside 10.3.x/ 10.4.x point updates doesn't require much attention: Download the update from the AppStore as any Mac would do Allow the system to reboot Before booting MacOS with Clover, make sure to disable extra drivers for dGPUs which require non-native support. If using an Nvidia dGPU: Remove "nvda_drv=1" from your boot arguments and disable Nvidia injection If using a non natively supported AMD card, do the same for AMD (I'm not using AMD, thus I cannot be specific) Boot into the newly created Install MacOS partition Repeat this process until the Install partition is gone Boot MacOS again, still following 3., and potentially install updated drivers Your Audio might require re-patching 4. ToDo Move away from static DSDT patching to SSDT hotpatching --> requires my work Native NVRAM --> requires developer work Audio without AppleHDA patching --> requires developer work 5. Thanks to @MaLd0nfor helping finding the right way with the DSDT @RehabMan, for being a legend and helping me out patching @toleda, for audio patches for the 300 series /u/corpnewt, for his superb vanilla guide @wmchris for his super XPS 9550 guide and introducing me to hot-patching @Panzerschiffe for his addition to this guide all the developers of clover and it's awesomeness SSDT-UIAC.aml win-germany.keylayout

  12. Updates: Run OSX El Capitan on a Dell Optiplex (780) (760) (755) (790) (990) 1. Credits/Sources Everything OSx86-related is a collaborative effort amongst people who enjoy doing these things, as well as those of us who enjoy tweaking and experimenting with things. Below are a list of sources used to compile this guide: OSX86 Wiki InsanelyMac Slice, and all testers who help with development of the Clover Bootloader polyzargone, MacPeet, Chris1111 and all other forum members who have posted in this topic and helping out the community. All of pepto's Previous Optiplex 780 (760) Guides! Mountain Lion 10.8.X, Mavericks 10.9.X, Yosemite 10.10.X. 2. Requirements Here are the requirements: A Dell Optiplex 780 (760) – This is necessary to install OS X El Capitan for this tutorial A working Install of Mac OS X – This can be in the form of an existing hackintosh, a virtual machine within Windows or Linux, or even a regular Mac. If you don’t have any of these things, then find someone who can help you out for a while. I prefer using a hackintosh with OS X Mavericks or Yosemite. Using an already working copy of Mac OS X either in a VM or a native hackintosh install is HIGHLY recommended. A 16GB USB flash drive (or larger) – We’ll be copying the files to the drive appropriately, so make sure that you have a flash drive with enough storage space (16GB or larger). A copy of OS X El Capitan – If you don’t have a App Store Account, then create one to download OS X El Capitan for free! 30-60 minutes of time – Depending on how tech-savvy you are, this may be quick, or it may take a while. An SSD or HDD to install 10.11 to – For me, I used a 1TB partition to install 10.11 to. A PCI Express Video Card – For use with QE and CI. I use a Ati Radeon HD5450 1GB but 512MB or 2GB also works. This Optiplex 780 (760) El Capitan Clover-v3.zip file, and the latest Clover Bootloader contains everything that you need to get your flash drive and hackintosh properly prepared. 3. My Specs My installation was successfully done on an Dell Optiplex 780 Desktop computer with the following specs. NOTE: A PCI video card is recommended to use the full potential of OS X El Capitan because the on board video card doesn't support QE/CI. Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.0GHz 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM Western Digital 1TB HDD ATI RADEON HD5450 1GB Intel WG82567LM Gigabit LAN Onboard ADI 1984A HDA Audio Onboard Acer H243H 24" Monitor 1680×1050 display Bluetooth - USB Broadcom BCM20702 (works OOB) Logitech C615 HD Webcam (works OOB) Bluetooth Keyboard (Generic Branded) Bluetooth Mouse (Generic Branded) 4. Download OS X El Capitan Open Mac App Srore. Login with your Apple ID. Download OS X El Capitan. Done! The Application INSTALL OS X El Capitan will appear in /Applications 5. Prepare Bootable USB Installer I recommend using Chris1111's app for creating your USB Installer. It is a great timesaver! * You must have OS X Mavericks or above to use this app, if not, you can also create USB Installer with this method here. 1. Download App Here , or here. 2. Follow instructions in first Post for creating USB Installer 3. Select Install in ESP 4. Select Create Installer. This step may take some time, good time to get a cold drink. 5. After App is finished, you will see EFI Partition of USB Installer on your Desktop. 6. Open EFI Partition, then open EFI Folder, copy and paste the clover folder from Optiplex 780 (760) El Capitan Clover-v3.zip, to the EFI Folder, choose to replace folder. 7. There are 2 different DSDT's in the Optiplex 780 (760) folder. Copy the appropriate DSDT for your installation to: EFI/EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched. 8. Download the latest version of Clover Bootloader and copy it to the root of your USB Installer. 9. USB Installer Pen is Done! 6. Install OS X El Capitan This part is the most time consuming. Using a USB 4G flash drive will help things out quite a bit. 1. Shut down computer. 2. Power on unit while tapping F2 Key. Enter BIOS, change SATA operation to AHCI. 3. Save and reboot. 4. Press the F12 key to choose boot device, select USB device. 5. When clover boot screen is visible, choose boot “Mac OS X from El Capitan USB Installer”. 6. The system will then boot into OS X installer. 7. For a new installation of OS X, you must erase and format the destination drive according to the following steps before continuing. If you are upgrading from Lion, Mountain lion, Mavericks or Yosemite and you want to keep your files and apps, skip steps a – j. a. Choose Disk Utility. b. Highlight your target drive for El Capitan installation in the left column. c. Click Partition tab. d. Click Current and choose 1 Partition. e. Click Options… f. Choose GUID Partition Table. g. Under name: Type El Capitan, (you can change it later if desired). h. Under Format: Choose Mac OS Extended (Jornaled). i. Click Apply then Partition. j. Close Disk Utility. 8. When the installer asks you where to install, choose El Capitan Hard Drive. 9. Upon completion, system will restart a 1st time. 10. Press F12 Key to choose the boot device. 11. When the Clover Boot screen is visible, Choose your El Capitan Hard Drive. 12. You will eventually get to the setup screens for OS X El Capitan. Go through the setup process to setup OS X El Capitan. 13. Choose at, “How do I connect to the internet”… “MY Computer Does Not Connect to the Internet”, we will fix this later, go further with the setup process. 14. The setup process will take about 3 minutes. 15. Done! 7. Adjust some settings in OS X 10.11 Once in 10.11 go to finder –preferences –General and choose in "show these items on the desktop" - Hard Disk - External Disk - CD Go also to System Preferences – Security & Privacy click on the lock icon in the lower-left corner and type your password. Under, "Allow apps downloaded from", click on "Anywhere" Close system preferences. 8. Installing The Clover Bootloader on Your Hackintosh The following instructions may appear a bit oversimplified, but we are trying to keep it simple for first-time Clover Bootloader users. Copy the Clover Installer from the root of your El Capitan USB Installer to your Desktop: Open Clover package installer. Hit Continue, Continue, Change Install Location.... Choose your HD, now called El Capitan. Hit Customize and install Clover with the following Custom Install settings: (see images below) After installation of the Clover Bootloader, the EFI Partition of your El Capitan Hard Drive should be mounted on your Desktop. Copy the Clover folder from the Optiplex 780 (760) El Capitan Clover-v3.zip into your El Capitam EFI Partition > EFI Folder. Make sure to choose to Replace the Clover folder. In Tools Folder of Clover 760-780.zip, Open Clover Configurator. Click File, Open File, and Select config.plist in EFI/EFI/Clover. Click on SMBIOS in right-side pane, and create your new SMBIOS, (iMac 10,1) with Random Serial Number. Copy paste this SN into Board Serial Number and add enough Letters/digits to make it a 17 character number. Open a command terminal, run the following command: "uuidgen", paste the result in SMUUID box in Clover. Close Clover Configurator, Save changes. There are 2 different DSDT's in the Optiplex 780 (760) folder. Copy the appropriate DSDT for your installation to: EFI/EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched. Finished! Now, Remove the USB Installer and Reboot into OS X El Capitan Select Destination Partition: El Capitan Hard Drive Install Clover in ESP, Install boot0af in MBR, CloverEFI 64-Bits SATA Expand Themes, Select BootCamp Install RC Scripts In Target Volume, Install Clover Preference Pane 9. Video There are two DSDT's included in Optiplex 780 (760 folder. One DSDT is already edited for HD5450 Sound Cards, The other DSDT is a Generic DSDT to be used with Video Cards other than the HD5450. The appropriate DSDT for your Video Card should be copied to EFI/EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched. 10. AppleHDA Sound and HDMI Sound Method 1: Use Kext Utility to install MacPeet's AppleHDA Version 3 kext. This kext will need to be reinstalled after a system update. Method 2: Injection Method, this method does not require kext to be reinstalled following a system update. Use AppleHDA and realtekALC kexts from this folder. Install AppleHDA.kext in S/L/E, Rebuild cache. Place realtekALC.kext in EFI/EFI/Clover/kexts/10.11. Use Clover Configurator to make necessary edits, as in included image. 11. Ethernet: Install Intel82566MM.kext that is inside Ethernet Folder. AppleIntelE1000.kext can be used if you have problems with your Ethernet, it works better for some people. 12. iMessage & FaceTime iMessage and FaceTime should be fully functional. If you get an error message signing in, check to be sure that you correctly followed steps 8 - 12 in Section 8: Installing The Clover Bootloader on Your Hackintosh. 13. Updating To 10.11.6 1. Download the 10.11.6 Combo Update. Download 2. Install Update 3. Computer Will Reboot After Update is Complete 4. For Injection-Method Sound, No Updates to Kexts Should Be Necessary 5. For AppleHDA Sound, (non-injection Method) use Kext Utility to Reinstall AppleHDA.kext. Reboot! Whats's working? Just about everything. AppleHDA Sound, and Sound Over HDMI works using MacPeet's AppleHDA Version 3 kext,, or Clover Sound Injection Method iMessage and FaceTime Works All USB Ports, (thanks to polyzargon for USB injector Kext). Sleep is also working with the included DSDT. Wake from sleep from Bluetooth Device is working. Radeon HD5450 Video Card is working without any kext edits needed using included DSDT. 17. It is possible to use all devices, but some must to be in switch mode. One of the two inputs is the microphone, it is only configured as line-in. Take a look at the resources from the attachment. For layout 10 you should have four 2-channel streams, the first input device is the rear and front microphone in switch mode, the second device is line-in. Layout 11 has only three 2-channel streams, line-in and the rear microphone are in switch mode, the front microphone as second device. Platforms101.xml.zip

  34. Some changes I made in my Clover fork on github... First is to support VirtualSMC.kext same as FakeSMC.kext with respect to InjectKexts=Detect. Simple change to CheckForFakeSMC: https://github.com/RehabMan/Clover/commit/a12126299ba622290c7573e6200fadf3570dca24 Another is a critical fix for AcpiPatcher.c (broken somewhere between r4444 and r4658). The bug: merged SSDTs (AutoMerge=true) are not being patched with patches in ACPI/DSDT/Patches. These are the rules: - any table that was merged (eg. replaced its original in the XSDT) via AutoMerge=true and correct naming shall be subject to ACPI/DSDT/Patches - any add-on table (eg. added to the end of XSDT) because it could not be matched (naming/header) shall not be subject to ACPI/DSDT/Patches The fix is here: https://github.com/RehabMan/Clover/commit/1b344368b9960904ad6e0eaf7ad0cd9500d60d85 Another change has to do with the installer defaults for drivers64/drivers64UEFI content. For my build, decided it was better to set AptioMemoryFix, ApfsDriverLoader (and required AppleImageLoader), and AppleUiSupport (replaces many others) as default. This one took me a couple of tries to get it completely right (misread XhciDxe as default... [only default for drivers64]): https://github.com/RehabMan/Clover/commit/b81dd0cc7cadf826ef91ee29523a2cbfefd28814 https://github.com/RehabMan/Clover/commit/ca9576f33d5d2a186f9d32a11e12320eeaeb39cc -- And another problem I noticed. At first, I synced to latest svn, which at the time was r4672. But there was a serious performance regression. Navigating in the GUI is extremely laggy (less noticeable on a fast computer, but still noticeable). So, I went back to r4658 before all the svg stuff was added. No performance issue with r4658. It appears the svg support causes a serious performance issue in the Clover GUI. My current build is therefore based on svn r4658 until that performance regression is fixed in the svn Clover.

  38. sysprefs doesnt change the click behaviour for me. more detailed issue: physical clicks work about 30% of the time. The rest either the mouse button up or the mouse button down event is not registered in a timely manner. takes 1-3seconds to fix itself. * physical clicks are not registered (nothing happens), this only happens after at least one successful click in the past few seconds * a drag and drop / highlighting is not released and will continue even without any button pressed -> will be freed after a short amount of time after the actual button up event * hammering the physical click will make it worse (counter-intuitive ;-) ) * taps work like intended, dont seem to interrupt the physical click "timer" i have the issue on two different dell xps 15 models, so i doubt it has anything to do with faulty hardware (and it works well with voodoops2)

Do not use the drivers until you really need FV2. End of the story.

Micky1979 and Mirone are glad to present you a new version of AppleHDA Patcher.app that will help you enabling sound on your Hack! AppleHDA Patcher v1.9 http://olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=6528 AppleHDA Patcher, Jarvis ready funny? Well, born for fun joking with Mirone about some adventures patching AppleHDA.kext. Anyway Jarvis is there! --> Troubleshotting: 1- You don't need to have separate patches, now they are implemented within the app, just choose Desktop's or Laptop's. 2- Is it possible to patch AppleHDA.kext for different OS X versions, he supports all kexts from 10.7 up to 10.11 (and newer), or by default use the one in /System/Library/Extensions as base for the patches without drag anything. 3- You can create kexts through its patched files (Platforms.xml, LayoutX.xml, Info.plist for AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver.kext ) drag all of your files, choose or type the codec to patch the binary. The process automatically start. 4- Is automatically created a full patched AppleHDA.kext + HDAEnabler.kext to be used with all bootloaders, an aDummyHDA.kext and a config.plist *sample (to be used with Clover), an HDEF patch to be used with MaciASL ready with the correct layout-id (in case you chose to patch laptops also an IRQ patch will be generated), and also you will find usefull the CodecCommander.kext + hda-verbs by Rehabman forks. All files will be placed inside ~/Desktop/MironeAudio, just choose what you need. 5- for all steps 1, 2 and 3 you can also drag to the app interface your real config.plist to be edited where necessary. 6- The application is able to make corrections remotely updating itself when and if necessary. NOTE: The app produces various files, off course you do not have to use them all: Use aDummyHDA.kext + edited config.plist for Clover (Ozmosis works similar) For all other bootloader use the full patched AppleHDA.kext (+ HDAEnabler.kext or DSDT edits... not both). Use CodecCommander.kext if the sound does not work after the sleep (wake), read more here. aDummyHDA.kext goes in /System/Library/Extensions Italiano: Works in 10.7+ Credits: bcc9 for patch_hda.pl ported to obj-c code by Micky1979 Andy Vandijck for getcodecid command Pike R. 45. Well, it seems that my original introduction Post has disappeared... So, here I am posting again. [Edit:] (Just found that in Posting this response, that all the missing Posts have come back...) [/Edit.] I'm posting from my Hackintosh in the TARDIS. :-) My Hackintosh specs are in my signature; this is my first and current Hackintosh, but I have a new one planned using a Gigabyte GA-Z270-HD3 MOBO and either an i7 7700 or 7700K CPU. I will be adding in two EVGA GTX-1050 cards with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM on each card. (My GPU needs are NOT extensive, and I saw NO reason to spend $1K Each on more powerful cards... All I do is Number Crunching on BOINC for SETI@Home, and Einstein@Home, and the occasional game of StarCraft:Remastered.) I find that applying sound to Hackintosh is a challenge; so, I recently purchased a SabreNT USB Audio device. It works right out of the box, just go into Preferences - Sound, and select USB Audio Device and all is good. I will be getting a second unit for the new system. I hope everyone makes it back to the new Boards here. :-) TL
