  1. Thanks for your work on this driver Sinetek, we all appreciate it. I have the 0x522a10ec card reader in my HP Envy x360. Here is my ioreg and dmesg | grep rtsx rtsx.rtf ioreg.ioreg.zip
  2. This worked great for me. I'm still adding 0x04168086 to Azul and HD5000 info.plists, and injecting 0a260006 with DSDT and Clover. I added the patch to clover and cleared the IntelGFX to 0x0. This eliminated the problem with the menu bar and other graphic artifacts. The only remaining graphic issue is just before the login screen.
  3. Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately it didn't help. Yes, it's some kind of translucent text on the menu bar causing problems. I also have some graphic corruption on the Dropbox drop down. It might be related to color depth and EDID. I don't have my EDID injected, but will look into it.
  4. The first, haven't tried the second yet. We still need to do some fine tuning to eliminate the remaining glitches, so I want to try that too.
  5. OK, for the first time I do have have QE/CI working on my HD4600 mobile GPU. This is running on my Asus G750JM laptop, but should work with other HD4600 mobile GPUs. All credit goes to Pike for posting the modifications to AppleIntelFramebufferAzul.kext and AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext on his website http://pikeralpha.wordpress.com/. I advise you to check out the website, if you haven't already, he has some brilliant stuff on there. Anyway he lists the modifications to the kexts that are required. First we need to add the missing device-id (0x04168086) to /System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext/Contents/Info.plist, then patch /System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext/Contents/MacOS, changing the device id from 04128086 to 04168086. It is the first of the two patches he lists. I couldn't get it to work using the perl script so I did it manually using Hex Fiend editor. Now I already had 0a260006 injected with both DSDT and Clover, which may be overkill, only one should be required. But i order to get QE/CI working I had to add 0x0a268086 or 0x04128086 in IntelGFX under devices in clover. I tried 0x04168086, 0x0a260006 and 0x0, none of which worked. All features of QE/CI are working. I even got a Cinebench OpenGL benchmark with a score of 21.42 fps. There is still some flickering when the login screen comes up, and some problems with the menu bar font looking speckled, but otherwise it looks great. Haven't tried any of the other outputs yet. Many thanks to Piker Alpha, and everyone else involved.
  6. I injected 0a260006 with clover and DSDT but the Azul kext doesn't load unless you use 04128086 Intel FakeID with clover.
  7. I've been using HD4600 Mobile injected with clover with acceleration on Mavericks on my Asus G750JM using ig-platform-id 02AE0008. Like others no success with Beta or DP5.
  8. I'm using an i5 2500K with my Z77X-UDH5 with overclock settings at 4.8 GHz. According to HW Monitor I have only two speedsteps at 16x and 33x , so no overclock. :-( I've tried a custom SSDT using Revogirl's script, other site SSDT and no SSDT without success. Otherwise ML GM is working great.
  9. bux_booga, I could kiss you!! :-) Patching my DSDT with your PEGP.dsl works perfectly. I did change the framebuffer in the patch to ipomoea, and edited the ATI6000Controller.kext to match your osmunda hex data. It now boots to a clear, accelerated graphics screen every time! Sleep also works perfectly. I'll be testing HDMI and VGA next but I'm confident it will work. I may also look into further DSDT edits to get HDMI audio working, there is a thread on tonymacx86 on this. Just one question, how did you discover how to add the ATI graphics info your DSDT? Thanks again.
  10. Very nice work Trucker MK, my compliments :-) And Bux_Booga, I've read some of your russian posts. Thank you for your contributions. I've also been experimenting with 10.7.3 drivers, but I'm still getting very inconsistant results. It takes me on my 7750G on average 20 boots to get a clear QE/QI screen. Otherwise it is a black screen or a blurred screen. Using Osmunda gave similar results to Ipomoea. Sleep works with the latest sleepenabler.kext but sleep does kill the LVDS. I did decide to use Chameleon rather than Chimera. With Chimera I would get a KP with shutdown or restart. Bux_Booga, I'm curious to know how you got the framebufer information into your DSDT? Anyway, thanks again.
  11. Curious as to how this was accomplished and whether the method could extended to other ATI Radeon HD cards (i.e. 6650M)
  12. I very much wish I did, then I might be able to fix it. I've continued to edit the Ipomoea personality with different settings, and also tried other framebuffers including Fanwort and Lotus, but really haven't been able to improve on present results. It might have something to do with how the driver interacts with the LVDS display. For example, I never have corruption with using VGA. It's also interesting that sometimes the "double vision" effect seems to be off 10 pixels, sometimes less, sometimes just one pixel, but occasional perfect. Weird. Luckily it's a laptop so I don't really have to turn it off very often.
  13. Keep rebooting, eventually it will look good, might take 10 or more reboots to work. Tiresome I know.
