plugwash
recently it seems western digital released a 320 GB hard drive small enough to fit in a macbook. Has anyone tried this drive in a macbook? (I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work but I thought I would ask anyway).
silentnight2007
That's good to here that they are making bigger hard drives but what I would like to know is, I have the first Generation macbook core duo and I want to install a 250gb hard drive in mine but the thing I would like to know is, will my macbook recognize the new 250gb hard drive or can it only handle 200gb. FUKKU
As long as it's a 2.5" sata drive it shouldn't be a problem. I just have a 120 in my macbook but that's because it was the highest capacity 7200rpm laptop drive I could find at the time. What's the speed on that 320gb drive?
